Heartfelt Love

The strongest and purest heartfelt desire of every man, woman, and child is that we all need to be loved. Love is the most needed and required human emotion. It is the most potent offensive to help us move forward. It is the most robust defense against any attack or assault that attempts to dismantle what you hold most dear.

When someone truly loves you and supports you no matter the raging storms that come your way, you can still have the confidence to forge forward through any situation. But on the contrary, the lack of love or support can devastate your spirit. But always remember God is with you and loves you more than anyone on earth could ever love you. He cares for your soul and your heart.

For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of His glory, He may grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:14-19

The vast majority of the world constantly seeks to be loved, going from one person to another. From one thing to another seeking true love, yet not finding it. Around every corner, there seems to be someone or something that will fill the most profound need for true love. A love that will fill that empty void that they so desperately long to have filled. But unless you seek God for His love, you will never find it.

You may have someone special who loves you dearly, but Jesus is the source of true love and has always been right there before you. It is the one thing that you may need to investigate. Jesus is the one person you must run. He is the only one in all creation who will fill your heart with the love you desperately need.

This is why Jesus declared, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

The LORD appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore, I have continued my faithfulness to you. Jeremiah 31:3

For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I give Egypt as your ransom, Cush and Seba, in exchange for you. Because you are precious in my eyes and honored, and I love you, I give men in return for you, peoples in exchange for your life. Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, and from the west, I will gather you. Isaiah 43:3-5

Turn to the Lord Jesus Christ; He will show and fill you with the love you need to rejuvenate yourself to move forward from this place of sorrow. Run to Him and let Him wipe your sins and tears clean. His love for you is so great. He sacrificed His own life for you. He took the entire Wrath of God for you, the punishment you deserved.

Jesus said, “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you.” John 15:12-14

He displayed the greatest love, all on your account. Flee the aimless love of this world and the things that bring no eternal satisfaction. Fall into His loving arms, repent, and turn from your sins. He is waiting for you. Give Him every part of your existence. He will heal you, wipe your tears, restore you, and love you as you have only dreamed. It is this love you have been seeking your whole life. His love will satisfy your soul and give you joy and peace that surpass all understanding.

I waited patiently for the LORD; He inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD. Psalm 40:1-3
