Though your soul may be downcast and your spirit is low, the Lord hears your cry and sees your struggle. Though you feel as if everyone has left you all alone, He has never left you and will in no way ever forsake you. He is close by your side.
Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise Him, my salvation and my God. Psalm 42:5-6
Though your very breath and strength seem sapped away and it feels as if you may not rise again, the Lord is your life, strength, and the source of every revival. He is the one who lifts you up, rescues, and restores you. Placing you firmly planted upon a foundation that can not be shaken. He is the rock.
I waited patiently for the LORD; He inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD. Psalm 40:1-3
Though it seems as if everyone is against you and you stand with the Lord on your own. He is all you need. He is the truth, the life, and the way. The solid rock on which you can stand on and completely depend upon. The one who holds your hand and will not let you stumble or fall.
For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Psalm 62:5-8
Though the light has become dim and you can not see the way out, trust in the Lord. Trust in His everlasting promises, trust in His eternal power, and trust that He will bring you through to the place He has prepared for you. He will prepare a table before your enemies and reward your steadfast faithfulness in Him with unmeasurable proportions.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23:4-6
He will lead, guide, and direct each and every step along the way for those who lay everything at His feet.
Your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is everything you need, His Spirit will give you the life and strength you need to endure to the end, and the Father will uphold each promise He has made. Because of His deep love and devotion to you His loved one.
He is your Salvation, God, and rock. A firm foundation. There is no better footing that can be found, no greater power, and no more satisfying sustenance that you can feed upon then the Spirit of Glory, the Bread of Life, and the Lord God who is the sustainer of all creation.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns. The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; He utters His voice, the earth melts. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Psalm 46:1-7
The evidence is overwhelming, the confirmation is undeniable, and the authentication is irrefutable. The Lord is coming soon!
He will only take the righteous with Him. But the fool and the wicked will be left to suffer the consequences.
“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” Revelation 22:12-13
He comes to judge the wicked, vicious, headstrong, proud, arrogant, godless, depraved, scoundrel, conceded, blasphemous, and foolhardy.
The world is running amuck with an overabundance of despicable characters who do not know their right from their left, up from down, or good from evil.
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. 2 Timothy 3:1-5
We are in this very time and hour, surrounded by wayward, misguided, and downright unreasonable individuals.
They are silly with their folly and buffoonery, completely off their rocker, and convinced that they can do, say, and think whatever they want, with absolutely no consequence or repercussions.
The wise of heart will receive commandments, but a babbling fool will come to ruin. Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out. Proverbs 10:8-9
Even if someone gives them clear evidence of the opposite, they laugh and hurl themselves headlong into the gauntlet of corruption and destruction.
The fool has no understanding neither can they if you explain it to them.
Your eyes will see strange things, and your heart utter perverse things. You will be like one who lies down in the midst of the sea, like one who lies on the top of a mast. “They struck me,” you will say, “but I was not hurt; they beat me, but I did not feel it. When shall I awake? I must have another drink.” Proverbs 23:33-35
The evidence is mounting and the end of this age is right now!
The Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon, do not refuse Him, do not refuse to listen to His servants and prophets. Who declares warnings and proclaims the dangers of going the wrong way. Do not think you have any more time left. It will soon be done and there will be no more chances.
And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.
But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:6-8
Yes, everyone who has sinned and did not trust and obey the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation will have their place in the lake of fire. Every person who does not repent of their sins and turn away from them to live a righteous life to follow the Lord will be punished for all eternity.
This is no joke, this is no tall tale or fabrication. But it is the truth, and the truth is that God loves you so much that He died, was buried, and rose again to save your soul.
Yes, His mercy and grace are extended to you. But you must receive it. You must obey His commands.
No longer will God stand by and allow the foolishness to run rampant. But He will come in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, and it will be over. It will be the end of the multitudes of chances that He has given you.
If you refuse Him He will refuse you.
So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33
You Christian, yes you, call out to the streets, to the byways, to the corners, and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the love He has for the lost.
Call out to anyone who will listen before it is too late. Do it in any fashion that the Lord directs you, do it in haste that perhaps some may be saved.
Even if all the world declares that you are the fool.
And the master said to the servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled. For I tell you, none of those men who were invited shall taste my banquet.’” Luke 14:23-24
An eternity full of joy or suffering may hinge on your obedience or lack thereof.
When things look bleak, when you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, and you feel as if the Lord has abandoned you. Commit yourself to the Lord. What are you to do? Who will save you? Who can you trust? You can trust the Lord.
Trust in the Lord and trust Him only. He will answer, He will take care of you, He will comfort, instruct, heal, and restore. Only wait upon Him for His timing, plan, and will. His purposes are perfect.
For you save a humble people, but the haughty eyes you bring down. For it is you who light my lamp; the LORD my God lightens my darkness. For by you I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall.
This God—His way is perfect; the word of the LORD proves true; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him. Psalm 18:27-30
Trust in the creator of the Universe, the one who laid the foundations of the earth, who formed and placed every star in its place, and wrapped them all up in an envelope of perfection.
The one who formed you in your mother’s womb. The one who designed and crafted you in the perfectness of His marvelous plan, purpose, and will for your life. Who decreed and declared your future before there was a past.
What does He want you to do, where does He want you to go? Why does He allow so much pain, suffering, and persecution? How long will be long enough? For you to suffer in this prison cell of agony and waiting. He knows and He has a great purpose for it all, every second is part of His plan.
Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Psalm 37:3-6
Commit your ways to Him, your plans, work, family, mind, spirit, soul, and everything that you are. Pray continually and obey His Laws and Precepts. Ask for His wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and patience in all your ways and decisions.
It is not about your comfort and pleasure that He is concerned about. But your complete and utter devotion to Him and trusting in absolute faith that He will accomplish everything for you as He has planned.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.
Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones. Proverbs 3:5-8
Turn from all evil and do what is pleasant in the eyes of the Lord. Put far away from your lips and heart anything that is arrogant, haughty, prideful, and malicious. Wrap yourself in righteousness and the holiness of the Lord. Walk in the Spirit and you will not gratify the desires of your own flesh.
Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:7-10
In this journey of life God has put you on, you will have very much trouble. It has been guaranteed by the Lord Jesus Himself.
Jesus said, “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
But be not afraid, neither doubt His love or plan. He has overcome, He knows what is best, and His promises are still true. Though the outcome is unclear, believe that He is in control, and He will work everything out for your good.
The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the LORD. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the spirit.
Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established. The LORD has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble. Everyone who is arrogant in heart is an abomination to the LORD; be assured, he will not go unpunished.
By steadfast love and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the LORD one turns away from evil. When a man’s ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues with injustice. The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps. Proverbs 16:1-9
So many in churches these days claim the title “Christian.” Knowing what the beliefs and traditions they follow are correct. They confidently teach others the same thing. But the question is, “is what they follow of God or Religion?”
After all the doctrines, teachings, philosophies, ideals, and traditions that they hold to, rely upon, practice, follow, and teach were taught to them by their respected peers, highly educated teachers, and admired pastors that were taught in esteemed biblical institutions.
Most of the time there is no doubt in their minds that they have most everything correct, or at least the most important aspects of Christianity. Their professors of doctrine, theology, and eschatology could not have been mistaken, could they?
Yet, did you know that since Jesus walked on the earth Christianity has been divided time and time again? Until now there are over 40,000 different Christian denominations worldwide.
What is even more surprising, is that many of these denominations hold firmly to different doctrines and beliefs about what the Bible teaches. To put it into simple terms, they declare, “I am right and everyone else is wrong.” They have chosen the “right way” according to their own understanding, everyone else needs to repent, and become part of their particular sprinter of Christianity.
Repentance is good and necessary, but only to God and only when you have broken God’s Law, not the dogma of man-made religion.
These vast religious entities go even to the point that many deny the very essence of the faith, such as Creation, the Flood, God’s Sovereignty, His prophets, Jesus’ virgin birth, His death, His resurrection, the Holy Spirit, and many more fundamental truths of God’s Word.
Knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. They will say, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.”
For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished.
But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. 2 Peter 3:3-7
Sadly, this is true, most who occupy church buildings deny God Himself by closing their ears and their eyes to His instruction through the Holy Spirit. They would rather listen to biblically educated men and women who have been educated by other biblically educated men and women.
Whatever happened to listening to the Lord? Seeking the guidance, instruction, and wisdom of the Holy Spirit? But instead, they desire to be teachers of the Law, teachers of doctrine, and theologians.
If with Christ you died to the elemental spirits of the world, why, as if you were still alive in the world, do you submit to regulations— “Do not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch” (referring to things that all perish as they are used)—according to human precepts and teachings?
These have indeed an appearance of wisdom in promoting self-made religion and asceticism and severity to the body, but they are of no value in stopping the indulgence of the flesh. Colossians 2:20-23
They have puffed themselves up in their own minds with biblical comprehension. In some cases, for the reason that they may know more than the next person. That they may be praised by man and glorified before everyone in the churches.
Yet they have no wisdom or understanding given to them by God. In essence, they do not know what they are even talking about and leading many astray knowingly or unknowingly.
Certain persons, by swerving from these, have wandered away into vain discussion, desiring to be teachers of the law, without understanding either what they are saying or the things about which they make confident assertions. 1 Timothy 1:6-7
No wonder there are so many divisions and denominations.
Because every man believes that in his own mind, his own understanding, and in his own opinion that he is absolutely correct. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong. What this really is, is an act of pride.
He says, “I am right and you are wrong.” Instead of, “what does God say, how can we be instructed by the Holy Spirit.”
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the heart. Proverbs 21:2
Listen, if there are so many divisions in Christianity, then most of them must be wrong. You are not to look up to your leaders and instructors with holy faith in what they teach.
As the Bereans that were commended by Paul searched the scriptures daily and sought to be taught by the Holy Spirit. If there’s any doubt God will show you what is true and what is false.
Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. Acts 17:11
But you have received the Holy Spirit, and He lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what He teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as He has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ. 1 John 2:27
The true believer in Jesus Christ does not follow man, he or she does not raise up anyone else and say I follow this person or that person believing every word they say. But they test the word and they follow God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit with complete devotion and trust.
There is no Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Catholic, Protestant, Reformed, Arminian, Calvinist, or Lutheran just to name a very few. Those who are true, who has the Spirit of God within them are simply servants of the Lord, followers of Jesus Christ, and soldiers in the army of God.
All that other stuff is fluff and worthless. Names, titles, man made doctrines, traditions, and rituals. It is of absolutely no use and vanity.
And Jesus said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, “‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me; in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ You leave the commandment of God and hold to the tradition of men.” Mark 7:6-8
Leave the religions, traditions, and rituals taught and practiced by man and follow the Lord only. Seek to be guided by the Holy Spirit in everything you do and say.
Men will fail time and time again. Do you really want to trust completely the faltering ways of man? The Lord will never fail, never falters, and will never lead you astray.
Even the Apostle Paul went away into Arabia for 3 years to be instructed only by the Holy Spirit. Why? Because He could not trust the teachers of the Law in those days to teach Him the Truth. Why would you think that teachers in these last days could do better when their teachings are more diverse than ever before?
Do you really think you could pick the right teacher out of 40,000 denominations? You can not take that chance. Your very eternity and the eternity of others may be at stake. But the Lord will always teach you what is right.
The bottom line of all of this is that you must follow and obey the ways, precepts, and the word of the Lord God Almighty. Any other belief, any other teaching, and any other instruction is actually coming from the devil.
For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15
This day you must determine in your heart and mind to follow the Lord only. To let Him teach you even if at first you do not understand, He will give you the wisdom and insight that you may understand.
Determine to seek good and not evil, to walk in the Spirit of the Lord and not in your flesh, and to walk away from the religious if need be. It is hard, I know, but God’s understanding is much better and much higher than man’s.
“Now therefore fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord,
choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:14-15
It is time to destroy, cut, and sever all connections and ties made by the devil himself, principalities, dominions, powers, and demons in the heavenly and earthly realms. All by the power and authority of Jesus Christ, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit!
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12
I pray to the Lord by the power of the Almighty God that you sever all connections, strongholds, and ties to your faithful servant of Jesus, in any way, form, or fashion by the evil one and his minions.
Cut the cords of control, manipulation, and even observation by these evil powers of ruling authority in the hierarchy of wickedness.
By the power, authority, and blood of Jesus Christ, I declare that they no longer have any sway whatsoever over the sons and daughters of the King of kings and Lord of lords, over the ruler of all nations, tongues, peoples, and spirits any longer.
Therefore God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11
You have been bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ, chosen and precious in the Father’s sight just as Jesus is chosen and precious. They can not come around them or their families any longer. They are cast out in Jesus’ name.
We slam the door in their faces and lock the door behind them.
For it stands in Scripture: “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame.” 1 Peter 2:6
They must take all their wicked schemes, devices, and traps with them. Every demon, a person of wickedness, witchcraft, or contemptuous being must be removed with them.
They must leave never to return.
For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.
We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete. 1 Corinthians 10:3-6
I pray Lord You open their eyes to see and ears to hear in the all-powerful Spirit of the Lord, quicken them and fill them with your presence like never before in Jesus’ name. That they will be able to recognize the wicked spirits with razor blade sharpness of discernment and insight.
Make your servants weary of the evil ones, for they will try to come back through the back door when we least expect it.
But they will not have the upper hand but both will be cut off in Jesus’ name.
The servant of the Lord will finally be free from their wicked entanglements, be able to move forward in the work, and appointments you have been prepared for them to do by the word of the Father. Set apart by His command since before the earth was founded.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him.
In love, He predestined us for adoption to Himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of His will. Ephesians 1:3-5
You are God and creator of all things, it is to You and You alone that we bow and give our honor, glory, and praise.
It is You alone that has power over the forces of evil that surround us day in and day out. That seek to destroy us and demolish the work and mission that you have given us to accomplish.
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” Matthew 28:18
But all the forces of evil will not stand against Your faithful, holy, and righteous servants. We are clothed in your righteousness and power, in the full armor of God. We have been given a position of sonship to the Mighty God and heirs to the throne with Jesus Christ Himself.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:11-12
Nothing can stand against or remain in the presence of your servants that shine like the sun, who walk in the Spirit of the Lord, who follow and obey the commands of the Lord, who are faithful and obedient to the words of Jesus Christ, because of what God has done and declared over us.
Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And He who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake, we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.
”No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:26-28,35-39
God bless all of you my Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus. Pray this prayer over yourself in the power and authority of the Holy Spirit, in the Spirit of God the Father, and by the mighty name of Jesus Christ who rules and reigns over all things, your Lord and Savior.
He will hear, He will answer, and He will move and act to destroy all the works of the Devil on your behalf. Amen
Many churchgoers in this day and age walk in the same fraudulent and deceptive spirits as the house of Israel from days of old. How could that be, you might say.
They go to church and praise the Lord with their lips. Perhaps lifting hands to heaven, singing great songs of praise, and crying tears of joy and celebration all in His name.
They listen intently to the word spoken from the pulpit. Praising the preacher and teacher for the good words of inspiration, instruction, and even warning.
They listen to worship music in their car, sermons, gospel messages, and even talk about all kinds of doctrinal statements, biblical principles, and Greek and Hebrew word translations. But their hearts are far from Him.
And the Lord said: “Because this people draw near with their mouth and honor me with their lips, while their hearts are far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment taught by men, Isaiah 29:13
Yet they walk in the way of lawlessness, rebellion, and disobedience. Leaving the four walls of the sanctuary and the company of other Christians, they dive headlong into sinful practices, evil thoughts, and vial behaviors in the secrecy of their own homes or minds.
As it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.”
“Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive.” “The venom of asps is under their lips.” “Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness.”
“Their feet are swift to shed blood; in their paths are ruin and misery, and the way of peace they have not known.” “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Romans 3:10-18
Even now if they read this, if they hear this message of warning spoken, they will not listen. They will not turn from their deceptive and wicked ways. It goes in one ear and out the other.
After the message of repentance and God’s forgiveness, they will turn and continue on as before. They love their sin too much to give it up for some farcical righteous Godly living. No, they will not budge from their determinant course, no matter the consequences, they will do as they please.
But the people have not returned to him who struck them, nor have they sought the Lord Almighty. Isaiah 9:13
This is a truly sad truth! Those of us who know the truth, follow, and obey the Lord Jesus Christ know their fate, their final destination. It is Hell, and it is no joke or trivial argument!
They have been deceived by their great leaders, writers of doctrine, and modern teachings in some cases. Others believe their great knowledge of Scripture, their church attendance and earthly works, and higher biblical scholastics have gained their entry into heaven. It has given them a seat at God’s banqueting table.
It’s a lie from the devil himself!
But the reality of their position before God could not be further from the truth. They have not been converted, they have not been changed in heart, mind, and soul. They are destined for destruction if the Lord God does not intervene.
Truly the word was given by the prophet Ezekiel has come to pass in this time. The falsehood of their ways is so plain to see.
Yet they can not see past the tip of their nose. They have fallen headlong into the deception of the devil. The flashing lure of sin has deceived them into running full force toward a trap. The sharp hook of the devil’s snare has been fastened securely in their jaw.
“As for you, son of man, your people who talk together about you by the walls and at the doors of the houses, say to one another, each to his brother, ‘Come, and hear what the word is that comes from the LORD.’
And they come to you as people come, and they sit before you as my people, and they hear what you say but they will not do it; for with lustful talk in their mouths they act; their heart is set on their gain. And behold, you are to them like one who sings lustful songs with a beautiful voice and plays well on an instrument, for they hear what you say, but they will not do it.
When this comes—and come it will!—then they will know that a prophet has been among them.” Ezekiel 33:30-33
Only God can save them now, only God can sheer the wicked steel cable holding them down. Only God can break off the malicious hook that holds them in deception. He is their only hope for salvation.
Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says: “‘“You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.”
For this people’s heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.’ Matthew 13:14-15
Are you listening? Is this you? Have you been deceived and continue to ignore the warnings and signs that you have been trapped in the devil’s deception? Or do you know those you love who have been?
Pray that the Lord opens eyes to see and ears to hear in these tumultuous times. Pray that if it is you God will have mercy on your soul. He rushes His Holy Spirit on the dead and dry bones of the rebellious and disobedient. Upon the blind, deaf, and dump of heart.
But what God foretold by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ would suffer, He thus fulfilled. Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus, whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets long ago. Acts 3:18-21
Turn to the Lord that He may change your heart and desires. Repent of your sins and fall before Him crying out for forgiveness. Seek Him with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength.
He will listen, He will hear, and He will do as He promised to cleanse you of all your sins and establish you in the place He has prepared for you.
But you must do it. You must forsake your sin and evil ways. You must give up on your life and give it all to Jesus. Yes, you must give Him everything.
The steps of a man are established by the LORD, when He delights in his way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the LORD upholds his hand. Psalm 37:23-24
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality. Colossians 3:23-25
As a servant of the Lord, follower of Jesus Christ, and the temple of the Holy Spirit I desire to do the work of the Lord. Above and beyond anything else as long as I can remember this is what I wanted to do. I wanted nothing more than to do the will of the Lord.
Though I stumbled, fell short, and messed up in many ways, God always came after me to bring me to a place of humility and repentance. Turning me back on the path He had pointed out at the young age of six.
I spent many years pretending to do what was right. Yet on the inside where most could not see, there was much anger, loneliness, arrogance, haughtiness, lust, rebellion, and disobedience. Always trying to appear to others that I was righteous but honestly rotten on the inside. Not truly converted or changed.
I was desiring to do what was right, but could not change my own heart, and because of it, I kept on sinning. Fighting against my sinful nature day in and day out, not content to let the devil win without a fight.
Even then as a teenager I knew I was different. I was a loner for the most part. Never seemed to fit in anywhere. Friends with most everyone but friends with no one at the same time. Those who have been there will understand.
It was not money, fame, titles, renown, popularity, or profitable career placement that I really desired. Not even my own hopes and dreams were that important to me. I considered them second fiddle to the will of the Lord for my life.
I knew the truth of God’s Word. That those who seek to gain the world will lose it all and those who seek to serve and give it all the Lord will gain it all. A great reward in the life hereafter.
For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? For what can a man give in return for his soul? Mark 8:36-37
I knew Jesus was my example. That is who I wanted to be like, but I also knew I could not do it on my own.
But Jesus called them to Him and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. It shall not be so among you.
But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:25-28
I am not boasting in my own piety as some may assume. I am just telling the plain truth of the desires of my own heart. I was definitely interested in doing things, going places, having things, and achieving success in life. But first and foremost I wanted to serve the Lord and go where He wanted me to go and do what He wanted me to do.
This was how I treated all of my major decisions. I even remember in a time of crossroads I prayed to the Lord something like this. “Lord, I do not desire wealth, fortune, or fame, it would only ruin me the way I am right now. Because I know my own heart. But guide me on the right path, direct my steps on the way you have chosen for me, and I will follow you the best I can. Wherever that may lead, so be it.”
Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me His own.
Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you. Only let us hold true to what we have attained. Philippians 3:12-16
The Lord has since changed me inside and out. Filled me with His Holy Spirit, given me a new heart, a new mind, and a hunger and thirst for His word and His ways. More so than ever before.
God chose the path of being an Automotive Technician for me, I wanted to be an engineer, but He said no. So that is what I did.
There I found ways to do His will. I first started to change every customer’s radio station to a Christian station in each and every car I entered. Then when I discovered Gospel tracts, it was hiding one so they would find it later, trying not to miss a single one.
This is what I am pressing on to do and what I work hard to do. I have walked the streets, stood for countless hours outside of sporting events, concert, and other places people gather to give them the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to anyone I could.
I write and spread the instruction of God’s Word, deliver the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all the lost that I can, even to multitudes in other countries through my website, and other social media platforms. I also support other ministries with the same focus and goals.
I do this on my own with very little help from anyone else except for one close friend. I do what He asks of me to the best of my ability, serving the Lord, working heartily for Him, and doing it according to His will even if I don’t understand or know where I am going.
I do all of this with very little support. But I know that I have been given a great task and responsibility to fulfill. I will continue to make do with whatever He gives me to do it with. It is the strength of the Lord only that I rely upon.
Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more. Luke 12:48
Many do not understand, neither could they understand what He asks me to do. Some do not approve, try to stand in the way, and oppose the work. But they will have to stand before the Lord on their own account. He will be their judge.
I will stand on my own for my own actions. Their opinions do not matter to me one bit. It is the Lord’s approval I desire and not the opinions of men.
Some day they may see and understand. But if they do not and if it is not until heaven, that is ok with me. What is done in secret for the Lord He will reward.
We should not desire to reap the measly rewards of men’s applause.
But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. Matthew 6:4
I pray that you will take my example to desire the ways of the Lord, the will of the Lord, and follow and obey His every desire for your life. No matter what it may be or how hard it may seem.
Not that I have done it perfectly, no one can, but it is the pure desire of my heart to please my Lord Jesus Christ.
For it is from the heart that everything flows from. Good comes from a good heart and evil things from an evil heart.
Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you. Only let us hold true to what we have attained. Philippians 3:15-16
How hard it is for many to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Yes, you heard that right. It is so very hard to make it into the Pearly Gates. To endure to the end. Having proof of salvation by your persistent faith, acts of righteous deeds developed by the work of the Holy Spirit within you, and fruits of the Spirit displayed daily throughout your life.
The reason why it is so difficult is because of the deceitfulness, alluring attraction, and the powerful grip of your own sin and fleshly desires.
Oh how the devil and his demons dance for glee when you turn to sin instead of obeying Me. God
Because of sin, you justify yourself, lowering and minimizing the Law of the Lord that you may continue in your own rebellious sin.
Don’t be the one who refuses to mortify your own sinful desires. But seek after God, obey His commands, repent, and put away the ways of the devil.
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, Acts 3:19
But instead, the vast majority of people keep on doing what is dishonorable before the Lord and even justify those things that are an abomination to Him. Yes, even those things deemed vial, audacious, abominable, and revolting to the Lord are called good and pleasing to Him by wicked men. May the Lord forbid.
Jesus said, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:17-20
It is the poor in spirit, the humble of heart, the lowly of countenance, and the one who firmly declares in his soul that he will seek after God that will see Heaven. It is the one who seeks His righteousness with a ferocious focus, a resolute mind, a pure heart, and all the strength they can muster that will see the glory and magnificence of the Lord.
From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force. Matthew 11:12
The rich, prideful, haughty, arrogant, lazy, destructive, careless, and idolatrous person will not walk the narrow road that leads to life. They will refuse to work and labor on the rough and straight path that leads to righteousness. But instead choose the easy and wide road that leads to destruction, not caring what will come later.
And Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly, I say to you, only with difficulty will a rich person enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” Matthew 19:23-24
But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
Do not serve the things of this world, the ways of man, religion, tradition, and the deceitful ways of the devil. All that you see before you, all that you lay your hands to do that is not done for the glory of God and the love of one another will be blown away like dust in the wind.
Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Galatians 6:7-8
Turn to the Lord and seek Him with all your might. Cry out to Him for help that you will not go the wrong way and refuse to walk on His narrow path that He may do good to you and for you.
Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the LORD, Jeremiah 28:12-14
All that is done for your sinful desires and that is not a fruit of the Spirit will not profit you. But will drag you down to the pit of Hell.
Repent today and walk in His ways. Do not lay your hand to the till and look back but work for the Lord with a resolute determination never to go back to your old ways. Never to veer from His narrow road He has prepared for you to tread.
Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore He will rise up to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him! People of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious He will be when you cry for help! As soon as He hears, He will answer you.
Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
Then you will desecrate your idols overlaid with silver and your images covered with gold; you will throw them away like a menstrual cloth and say to them, “Away with you!” He will also send you rain for the seed you sow in the ground, and the food that comes from the land will be rich and plentiful. In that day your cattle will graze in broad meadows. The oxen and donkeys that work the soil will eat fodder and mash, spread out with fork and shovel.
In the day of great slaughter, when the towers fall, streams of water will flow on every high mountain and every lofty hill. The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the LORD binds up the bruises of His people and heals the wounds He inflicted. Isaiah 30:18-26
So many in this day and age call themselves “Christian.” But are they really “Christ like?”
For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in His steps. 1 Peter 2:21
The word “Christian” comes from the Greek word Christianos, meaning “follower of Christ,” which comes from the word Christos, meaning “anointed one,” who is Jesus Christ.
Are all of those who claim to be Christian, truly a follower of Him? How do you know who is a true believer and who is just pretending? How do you know if they are genuine or if they have just pinned the title to their jacket?
And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.” Matthew 24:4-5
“And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” Matthew 24:10-13
Do not trust names, titles, false perceptions, or positions and prominence in the church. Many walk in falsehood, pretension, and lies, claiming one thing and practicing another.
It is quite easy actually to tell who is of the Lord and who is not. You will know them by their fruit.
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.” Matthew 7:15-20
It is in how they act, how they speak, how they treat one another, and quite frankly if they do not reflect the character of Jesus Christ, they are false. If they were truly Christian, they would follow and obey the commandments of the Lord and His ways and precepts. They would display the fruits of the Lord’s Spirit. But they make it plain and simple that they do not.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23
Jesus said, I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. John 15:5-6
They are false Christians, false believers, false teachers, and false prophets. Stop calling all those who claim to be of the Lord Jesus Christ Christians, yet they do not act, talk, or walk like Him at all.
It simply is not true. If they do not exhibit the characteristics of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is righteous, pure, and holy in all His ways, they are not of Him nor are they for Him. But they are of the devil and sent by the devil to deceive, steal, and destroy the lives and souls of any they can.
You need to be wise and walk in the understanding, discernment, and insight of the Holy Spirit. Open your eyes that you may see, open your ears that you may hear, and open your spirit to the Spirit of the Lord, that He may unveil the truth of who they really are.
Many souls are in danger of being lost forever in an eternal destination of suffering and torment. How important does this understanding make the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are deceived and lost? How very urgent the truth of the Gospel is to those who will perish if they do not turn, repent of their sins, follow, and obey the Lord.
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’” Matthew 7:21-23
