Honor the Lord with every word that comes from your mouth. Honor Him with every action, thought, and deed. Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He is “the Way, the Truth, and the Life.”
Emulate the Savior in all your ways, speaking the truth always with your neighbor. Living out the truth in your daily life. Walking in the truth, taking captive every thought to honor Christ, just as He did. Forging forward in faith, working with your hands to do the Lord’s will. No matter how difficult it may be.
Put away from you all hatred, bitterness, slander, and anger. Do not give the devil an opportunity to find a foothold in your life. This kind of behavior is not from Him but will hinder you from following and obeying Him. It will entangle and ensnare you in doubt, depression, sadness, and fear. Because that is the goal of Satan by ensnaring you in those traps.
But walk in the Spirit and not in your own fleshly desires. For the Spirit of God gives life, strength, boldness, and confidence when you turn from those sins to do what is right. Seek the good and benefit of others over yourself.
The Word of God says, “Give and it will be given to you,” “Seek and you will find,” “Knock and it will be opened unto you.” “Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the LORD, and He will repay him for his deed.”
Give to those in need. Seek the Lord’s direction. Knock on the doors of heaven with your every request. So that the will of the Lord may be done through your faithful service. He will repay you for your obedience, compassion, generosity, and kindness.
Love one another with a pure heart. Don’t take offense, but be patient, bearing with one another, and forgiving one another. For God forgave you and continues to forgive you even now. If you live like this, I tell you the Lord will be pleased with you. He will pay you back for all the good you have done for Him. Because you Emulated Jesus Christ.
Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another. Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil. Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need.
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:25-32
