Rise, Oh Lord, and vindicate your righteous people. Lift up your laws and holy ways in the name and power of Jesus Christ. Tear down the wicked. Those who have crept into every corner and crevice of society and religion to defile and distort it in the most evil of ways, the ways of the devil.
Do not hesitate to despise their corrupt hearts and continual wicked intent to destroy and kill all they come across. Raise up the righteous to take their place. To rule and reign in your righteous and holy ways, Oh Lord my God.
They are completely degenerate and desperately wicked in all their ways, thoughts, and the working of their hearts. Come quickly and vindicate your holy and righteous people of upright and pure hearts. Bring your justice upon the heads of the wicked and cast them down in full view of the whole world.
Make their sins and shame known to all the people. Bring their punishment and judgment into the sight of all mankind. That they may fear you and turn from their own wicked ways. Give vindication to your righteous servants, proving that what they have been saying and doing has been in the right.
May people gasp and shudder at the horrors of the deeds the wicked have perpetrated. That they may fall on their knees in contrition and repentance to the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins.
May it be done in the Almighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Who is the great I am, King of kings, Lord of lords, ruler, and judge over all peoples, nations, and tongues. Amen
You have seen, O LORD; be not silent! O Lord, be not far from me! Awake and rouse yourself for my vindication, for my cause, my God, and my Lord! Vindicate me, O LORD, my God, according to your righteousness, and let them not rejoice over me!
Let them not say in their hearts, “Aha, our heart’s desire!” Let them not say, “We have swallowed him up.” Let them be put to shame and disappointed altogether who rejoice at my calamity! Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor who magnify themselves against me!
Let those who delight in my righteousness shout for joy and be glad and say evermore, “Great is the LORD, who delights in the welfare of His servant!” Then my tongue shall tell of your righteousness and of your praise all the day long. Psalm 35:22-28
