Lift your eyes to the Lord. This life is full of problems and struggles, but He will give you hope, peace, and strength when in need. When you seek Him, He removes all doubt, worries, and fear. So wait upon the Lord, hope in the Lord, and He will bring you peace amid your suffering.
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word, I hope; my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord, there is steadfast love, and with Him is plentiful redemption. Psalm 130:5-7
Do not fear the future, do not look at the waves and storms. The Lord, your God, holds you in the palm of His hand. He knows your fears, He knows your worries, and He knows your sorrows. He has laid out the path of life and holds your future. Everything happens according to His plan and His timetable.
Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked, for the day of trouble. Proverbs 16:3-4
Oh dear doubtful one, oh dear fearful one, look to the Lord who made you. Look to the One who formed you. Look to the One who thought of you and planned your life from the beginning. Look to the One who spoke a word, and the universe came into existence. Can He not hold your hand and keep you safe? Is anything too hard for Him?
“Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness, you who seek the Lord: look to the rock from which you were hewn and to the quarry from which you were dug.” Isaiah 51:1 “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:27
He will protect, hold, guide, and direct your path well. Seek Him all the days of your life. Do not take your eyes off of Him. He will bring you peace, hope, and rest. Not as the world gives, as it fades away like mist in the wind. But that which stays and lasts. His love is eternal, and He does not fail those who are His.
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in Him.” Lamentations 3:22-24
Worship the Lord and enter His courts with praise on your lips and heart. Though you walk through the deepest valley and struggle through the darkest storm, He is with you. He will surround you and bring you to His place of choosing. What God says is true, and what God promises He will fulfill. What God starts, He will complete, and who God loves, He will not forsake.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:1-6
