If you follow the Lord Jesus Christ by faith, you will have trouble, hardship, struggle, and pain. But I know the Lord will help you every step of the way to press on to the end if you trust Him and His plan.
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. John 16:33
Sometimes, you may wonder or even cry to the Lord, asking Him why it is so hard. But God is not doing this to hurt you but to empower and strengthen you in ways you could not even fathom. Because of this, you will continue to forge the way forward, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. He is the one that makes it possible. He is the one who gives us the strength to press on.
Remember, God has complete control, and God Himself planned everything that has happened in the past. To make you who you are now and prepare you for what is ahead. He is the one who allows it all and gives you new hope, gifts, and abilities to accomplish His will.
But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that He is able to guard until that day what has been entrusted to me. 2 Timothy 1:12
Do not give up or give in to this age’s woes, fears, and wickedness. The Lord will carry you through. It is not by your strength that you will do anything. But it is by His hand and power through your weaknesses that He makes you strong. His will and plans never fail.
Put your faith and trust firmly in Him. He is trustworthy and true to what He has promised. You will conquer and be victorious in all the Lord has given you. In Jesus’ name. Do you believe this is true? Have faith.
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 But you, take courage! Do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded.” 2 Chronicles 15:7
Though you may fall and stumble, the Lord your God will be right there to pick you up and help you. Even in your stumbling, He will teach you a new lesson. Jesus will use everything to bring you into conformity with Himself. He is so wise and good. I have to praise Him for everything He has done.
Since He has everything in control, press on to the goal He has set for you. Do not be afraid or ashamed of any of your circumstances. The Lord will use each of them for your good and growth to maturity in Christ. Look up to Him. Repent quickly, and do not despair at your situation. This difficult time shall pass, and then it will be on to glory.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
He can not fail. His plans, ways, purposes, and direction for your life are perfect. He will accomplish everything He has intended to do. Please do not listen to anyone’s opinions or those who doubt them. They do not know the will of the Lord for you. But press on with full assurance and faith in the Lord.
Keep pressing toward the goal, toward the prize, and the upward calling He has given you until you reach your time to go home. Be assured that God has a great purpose, process, and plan for your life and will complete what He has started. So keep your eyes fixed on Jesus because He promises you will make it to the end.
Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you. Only let us hold true to what we have attained. Philippians 3:13-16
