Let us all give Thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His steadfast love endures forever. Give thanks to Him who rescues the weak, storm-tossed, and persecuted. Give thanks to the Lord who looks graciously on the humble, lowly, and pure of heart. Give thanks to Him, for all good gifts come down from the Father of lights.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. James 1:17
The Lord, your God, is the One who will pull you out of deep despair, out of the darkness of sin and shame, and set you up on the Rock, firm and secure. But do not be fearful when you may walk through the deepest and darkest valley of hardship, struggle, and difficulty. God will lead, guide, protect, and shine His light on your path. He will guard each step and establish them so your foot will not slip.
He has saved your life from death’s pitfall and your soul’s destruction. He is raising you to eternal life to walk in His light and truth. He will wrap His beloved children with His light, love, joy, peace, and contentment. He is gathering them from every corner of the world, comforting and loving them with His tender and gentle hand.
So give all glory, honor, and thanksgiving to the One who has done all these things. Praise, worship, honor, and glorify Him, for He is the giver of life. He is so very good, and His steadfast love endures forever.
Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from trouble and gathered in from the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north and from the south.
Some wandered in desert wastes, finding no way to a city to dwell in; hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted within them. Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and He delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way till they reached a city to dwell in. Let them thank the LORD for His steadfast love, for His wondrous works to the children of man! For He satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul He fills with good things.
By His blessing, they multiply greatly, and He does not let their livestock diminish. When they are diminished and brought low through oppression, evil, and sorrow, He pours contempt on princes and makes them wander in trackless wastes; but He raises up the needy out of affliction and makes their families like flocks. The upright see it and are glad, and all wickedness shuts its mouth. Whoever is wise, let Him attend to these things; let them consider the steadfast love of the Lord. Psalm 107:1-9, 38-43
