God who dwells in the heavens, who rules and reigns with complete supremacy and sovereignty, who is in complete control over all things, He is the one with complete authority. His reign and sight reach to the farthest edge of the universe and there is nothing that goes unnoticed, there is not one atom that can escape His sight.
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:13
A hiding place is like a beacon and pitch black is as the midday sun to Him.
Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me. If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,” even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you. Psalm 139:7-12
The righteous are held in His hand. They are guarded by His armies, guided by His Spirit, and never will they be put to shame or cast down.
Though the wicked hate you, tear, scratch, and rip at you for all your goodness. Lashing their evil tongues to try to defame and ridicule you. The Lord will protect you under His wings. He surrounds and protects His loved ones.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” For He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings, you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. Psalm 91:1-6
Yet the wicked do not see, they do not understand who God is, and the protection He has placed upon His children. Nor can they even comprehend it. In their twisted minds, they have already claimed victory. In their vile version of wisdom and craftiness, they completely believe they will get away with it all. They think they will never have to stand accountable for anything. But, oh how they are wrong.
Behold, these are the wicked; always at ease, they increase in riches. Truly you set them in slippery places; you make them fall to ruin. How they are destroyed in a moment, swept away utterly by terrors! Like a dream when one awakes, O Lord, when you rouse yourself, you despise them as phantoms. Psalm 73:12, 18-20
Everything that happens is by the very Word of the Lord. It is allowed by God for His ultimate purpose and plan. Though the righteous will suffer and may die in the flesh, the spirit is saved and rewarded in everlasting glory.
He upholds the righteous and will preserve them to the uttermost. Though it seems that the wicked rule and triumph, a time will always come when the Lord will cast them down. When righteous will be seen for who they really are and shine like the sun. Like radiant stars in the heavens.
The Son of Man will send His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear. Matthew 13:41-43
Seek the Lord in all your ways. Seek righteousness, goodness, and seek to obey His laws and precepts in all your ways. God sees and He rewards you according to what you have done.
Don’t look, worry, or be upset at the outward prosperity of the unrighteous. Though they seem to prosper their end is sealed, their place is set.
Though the world hates you, the Lord your God will reward your faithfulness. He will bless you greatly for every good, selfless, and sacrificial act. Continue to walk in your integrity and in the ways of the Lord. It is better to suffer for righteousness sake for a short time and then rejoice in everlasting bliss forevermore than to dwell in the tents of the wicked and suffer for all eternity.
The path of the righteous is level; you make level the way of the righteous. In the path of your judgments, O Lord, we wait for you; your name and remembrance are the desire of our soul. My soul yearns for you in the night; my spirit within me earnestly seeks you. For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.
If favor is shown to the wicked, he does not learn righteousness; in the land of uprightness, he deals corruptly and does not see the majesty of the Lord. O Lord, your hand is lifted up, but they do not see it. Let them see your zeal for your people, and be ashamed. Let the fire for your adversaries consume them. O Lord, you will ordain peace for us, for you have indeed done for us all our works. Isaiah 26:7-12
