The Lords Faithful Ones

Determined, steadfast, and confident describe the ones who follow Jesus Christ by faith. The chosen ones of God. You can tell who is truly faithful to the Lord and who is not. They walk through the fire of affliction, suffer through the attacks of persecution, and wrestle against the forces of evil on every side. They will persevere and conquer in Jesus’ name, and after the battle is over, they will stand stronger than before.

In the sight of man, they may be scorned and rejected. But, in the presence of God, holy, righteous, and true. They may be pressed and crushed by trials and feel abandoned, rejected, and despised by the world. But the Lord will look favorably upon them for their faithfulness. The Lord says, “I will rescue them,” “they are worthy,” and “they will rise up on wings like eagles.”

But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

The faithful ones of the Lord will suffer things that most would not be able to endure. God has said that they will not be put to shame and they will never be lost again even though the road is narrow and difficult. Praise God, Jesus will guide their every step. He will walk with them. He will talk with them and keep them standing firm. Though they may fall many times, the Lord will always keep them to the end.

For the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity. Proverbs 24:16

The bold and faithful servant of Jesus Christ will keep their faith strong because He is the one who makes the impossible possible. He is the one who causes the improbable to become a reality. You can trust in Jesus when nothing else makes any sense. Remember, He is the God who spoke into the darkness and made light. He is the God who created the universe with a word. There is no one more worthy of your faith than Him.

Therefore let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good. 1 Peter 4:19
