Once and for all the Lord Jesus Christ has accomplished salvation for all who believe in Him. He suffered humiliation, shame, neglect, mockery, scourging, and beatings to such a degree He was unrecognizable and became a curse for mankind, as it was long foretold.
He hung on the cross shedding His every drop of blood for humanity. He bore the nails in His hands and in His feet. A spear thrust into His side. He suffered the entire wrath of God, taking the punishment, both yours and mine. He died for our every sin.
But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with His wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5
It was all for the restoration and healing of the nations. It was all to bring us back to a right and pure relationship with the Father. The relationship God had in the beginning with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.
Jesus, being God could not be held down. Though His physical body was killed and buried in a tomb, death could not hold any power over His Spirit. On the third day, the Holy Spirit raised Him to life defeating both sin and death. Now He grants to you the opportunity for that same power over sin and death, eternal life.
“God raised Him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for Him to be held by it.” Acts 2:24
Because of His perfect and flawless life and by the pure blood that He shed, He paid the great high price for the salvation of your soul. For anyone who will call upon His name, believe, and follow Him.
“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:1
“Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Cor 15:54-57
Rejoice oh Heavens, rejoice oh lands, rejoice all peoples because your Savior lives. He rules and reigns for all time and over all things! He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. King supreme who is seated over all creation.
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn shout for joy before the Lord, the King. Psalms 98:4-6
No longer should you look down at your feet with sorrow. No longer should you look back at your shameful past. No longer should you wallow in your sin and guilt. No longer should you flounder around in the darkness. For you now live in His light.
Turn your face fully to Jesus Christ and run forward in the firm confidence He has given you.
Brother, hold your head up high. Sister, look to the Son who has set you free. Bask in His radiant glow, the glow of His great glory, love, and affection. You have been pulled out of the darkness to live in His marvelous light. You are no longer condemned but you have been pardoned, forgiven, and adopted as a son to God Almighty.
Praise the Lord oh my soul and all that is within me praise His holy name! Jesus, the Son of God has set you free! So now walk in that freedom and boldly run the race, God has set before you!
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36
May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord rejoice in His works, who looks on the earth and it trembles, who touches the mountains and they smoke!
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have being. May my meditation be pleasing to Him, for I rejoice in the Lord.
Let sinners be consumed from the earth, and let the wicked be no more! Bless the Lord, O my soul! Praise the Lord! Psalm 104:31-35
