Look Up And Rejoice

The Lord Jesus Christ has accomplished salvation for all who believe in Him. He became a perfect sacrifice for mankind. Nevertheless, He suffered humiliation, mockery, scourging, and beatings to such a degree; He was unrecognizable.

He hung on the cross, shedding His blood for humanity. He bore the nails in His hands and feet. They even thrust a spear into His side. But worst of all, He suffered the entire wrath of God, taking the punishment, both yours and mine, to pay the debt we could not.

But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with His wounds, we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

It was all for the restoration and healing of the nations. It was all to bring us back to a right and pure relationship with the Father. A relationship God had with Adam and Eve in the beginning.

Jesus, being God, could not be held down. Though His physical body was killed and buried in a tomb, death could not hold any power over His Spirit. On the third day, the Holy Spirit raised Him to life, defeating both sin and death. Now He grants you the opportunity for that same gift, to have power over sin and death. He will give you eternal life if you believe in Him by faith.

“God raised Him up, loosing the pangs of death because it was not possible for Him to be held by it.” Acts 2:24

Because of His perfect and flawless life and the pure blood that He shed, He paid a tremendously high price for the salvation of your soul. Therefore, anyone who calls upon Jesus’ name and believes in Him by faith will be saved.

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:1 “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Cor 15:54-57

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn shout for joy before the Lord, the King. Psalms 98:4-6

No longer should you look down at your feet with sorrow. No longer should you look back at your shameful past. No longer should you wallow in your sin and guilt. No longer should you flounder around in the darkness. For you now live in His light. You may be reborn into His Spirit. Turn your face fully to Jesus Christ and run forward with confidence in Him.

Brother, hold your head up high. Then, sister, look to the Son who has set you free. Bask in His radiant glow, the glow of His great glory, love, and affection. You have been pulled out of the darkness to live in His marvelous light.

You are no longer condemned but have been pardoned, forgiven, and adopted as an heir of God Himself. Praise the Lord, oh my soul and all that is within me; praise His holy name! Jesus, the Son of God, has set you free. So now, walk in that freedom and boldly run the race God has set before you.

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36

May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord rejoice in His works, who looks on the earth and it trembles, who touches the mountains and they smoke!

I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have being. May my meditation be pleasing to Him, for I rejoice in the Lord. Let sinners be consumed from the earth, and let the wicked be no more! Bless the Lord, O my soul! Praise the Lord! Psalm 104:31-35
