How are you to live as a child of God? With meekness, patience, kindness, and compassionate hearts toward all men. Bearing with each other and forgiving one another. For we all fall and all need compassion and forgiveness. The Lord showed these things to you. So you also should do this to one another.
Let love reign in your life in complete righteousness and holiness with one another. Loving, helping, praying, and caring for one another in total peace. Just as God has desired you to do. Give praise to the Lord for all the wonderful things He has done. Shout to the Lord, sing and shout for joy with song, worship, and singing. The gratefulness of your heart will surely make the Lord smile.
I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. Psalm 145:1-3
In every situation, good or bad give glory, honor, and praise to your King with gratefulness and thanksgiving. For He is worthy. If you have woken up this morning, you are blessed. If you take in a breath of fresh air, you are blessed. If you see the beauty of His creation, you are blessed.
If you are still here, there is one more chance to do good for Him and to make the Lord smile upon you. You have been given one more day to do great work for the Lord. In due time you will be richly rewarded.
Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:12-17
