Blessed Beyond Measure

The Lord’s chosen and holy people are blessed beyond measure. If you are His chosen, you have been given such honor above all men. Not by what you have done, but because of His rich love, mercy, and grace. Because of what the Lord has achieved for you. Rejoice for He says, “you have already been seated in the heavenly places.” 

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace, you have been saved— and raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

so that in the coming ages He might show the immeasurable riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace, you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:4-9

Rejoice for your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Your position is secure, and your foundation is solid. You will not be moved or cast down, for the Lord has fixed His promises in the heavens, and they will not be revoked. 

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; Philippians 4:4-5 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart! Psalm 32:11

Comfort one another with these words, especially to the weak, broken, weary, and to those who have lost loved ones. They need your compassion, they need your love, and they need you to reach out to them for comfort. To let them know about Jesus and His gift of Salvation. Understand and rejoice for you are blessed beyond measure and He wants many more to come after you. Finally, remember the Lord is in control and His steadfast love endures forever.

Save us, we pray, O LORD! O LORD, we pray, give us success! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! We bless you from the house of the LORD. The LORD is God, and He has made His light to shine upon us. Bind the festal sacrifice with cords, up to the horns of the altar!

You are my God, and I will give thanks to you; you are my God; I will extol you. Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever! Psalm 118:25-29
