His Promises Are Coming

Someday the Lord will make all things right again. It will be as it was before the fall of man, but better. He will rid the land of the wicked. He will lay them low, giving them what they deserve. God will destroy every trace of wickedness, condemning it all to Hell, never to rise again.

Can wicked rulers be allied with you, those who frame injustice by statute? They band together against the life of the righteous and condemn the innocent to death. But the LORD has become my stronghold, and my God the rock of my refuge. He will bring back on them their iniquity and wipe them out for their wickedness; the LORD, our God, will wipe them out. Psalm 94:20-23

He will give to the righteous what He has long promised. He will sweep in peace, gladness, and joy. Never again will there be tears, sorrow, or pain. He will be the light and warmth of their countenance. Righteousness, holiness, and truth will reign supreme in all the land, and no filthiness or evil will ever be found again.

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God.

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” And He who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Revelation 21:3-5

And I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb. And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb. By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it, and its gates will never be shut by day—and there will be no night there.

They will bring into it the glory and the honor of the nations. But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life. Revelation 21:22-27

What a day that will be! Brothers and Sisters, what an awesome, wonderful, and glorious day to walk with the Lord Jesus Christ on the Heavenly roads paved in gold. We will never have a single worry, fear, or sorrow ever again. But for now, though you long and groan to be set free from the bonds of sin and despair, there is still much to do for the Kingdom of God.

For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. Romans 8:22-23

He has appointed you a worker of the harvest, a fisher of men, and a retriever of lost souls. There are so many more lost and weary souls that the Lord desires to save. Many more He has assigned for you to reach. God gives you this great and awesome duty to seek and save lost people. The lost and lonely sheep of His pasture that He longs to have safe in the fold.

I am the good shepherd. I know my own, and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father, and I lay down my life for the sheep. And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. John 10:14-16

Your purpose is to stay on that right, level, and narrow path. To seek to work for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. To build up riches in Heaven where neither moth eats nor rust destroys. Then on that day, the Lord will fulfill His promise to you, and all will rejoice for all the good and faithful work you have done for your Lord and King Jesus Christ. Praise God.

In that day, this song will be sung in the land of Judah: “We have a strong city; He sets up salvation as walls and bulwarks. Open the gates that the righteous nation that keeps faith may enter in. You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you.

Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock. For He has humbled the inhabitants of the height, the lofty city. He lays it low, lays it low to the ground, casts it to the dust. The foot tramples it, the feet of the poor, the steps of the needy.”

The path of the righteous is level; you make level the way of the righteous. In the path of your judgments, O Lord, we wait for you; your name and remembrance are the desire of our soul. Isaiah 26:1-8

Hallelujah, praise the Lord. We give honor and praise to the Lord Jesus, he who was, is, and still to come.

    Holy is the Lamb.

    God Bless you Joel.
