All the peoples of the earth from Adam until now, to the end of time, have committed sins and have rejected the ways of God. They have decided to walk a path of their own choosing. To go through a gate that they have picked to be right for them. The gate that leads to their eternal destination. Have you entered the right path through the correct gate?
But Jesus said, “Narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
The world as a whole has rebelled against God and His holy Laws. They have raised their fists to Him in defiance saying, “we will believe what we want, go where we want, and do what we want.” Ignoring the hidden gate of life God has placed within each person’s heart. Even though His message of love and forgiveness has gone out for all to hear.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him(Jesus) the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:6 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23
Praise the Lord, He does not treat you as you deserve. He gives you every opportunity to turn to Him because He is kind, compassionate, and slow to anger. Even when you were deep in sin, dead to the understanding and knowledge of God. He pours out on you His love, gives you another chance to repent and seek Him. His love for you is so great that He sacrificed the life of His own Son Jesus Christ in exchange for yours.
Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with His wounds, we are healed. Isaiah 53:4-5
Like a lamb that is led to slaughter Jesus humbly and willingly went to the cross of Calvary and shed His blood for the forgiveness of your sins. Even though He did nothing wrong deserving of any punishment, He did that for your sins, for you. In this way, He opened a way for your salvation. A gate to eternal life, but you must search for it. Search Him out. Seeking Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.
He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth. Isaiah 53:7
He took the punishment that you deserved, for your many crimes and sins against God. He took the complete Wrath of God upon Himself as punishment for your sins.
By oppression and judgment He was taken away; and as for His generation, who considered that He was cut off out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people? And they made His grave with the wicked and with a rich man in His death, although He had done no violence, and there was no deceit in His mouth.
Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush Him; He has put Him to grief; when His soul makes an offering for guilt, He shall see His offspring; He shall prolong His days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. Out of the anguish of His soul He shall see and be satisfied; by His knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and He shall bear their iniquities. Isaiah 53:8-11
Though He was perfect and had never sinned once, He took the sentence of death on your account. That you may not die but have eternal life given to you. As a free gift, He offers this life to all who believe in Him. He has laid a path before you, a narrow gate, that if you choose it you will go to Heaven after you die.
How amazing this is, what revelation, what a cause for celebration if you have decided to follow Jesus. Yes, the angels in Heaven celebrate when a sinner repents and chooses the right path.
Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents. Luke 15:10
Jesus died for your sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. He was victorious over sin and death. He has put them all behind His back never to remember your sins again if you repent and turn from your wicked ways.
Now He has become the gateway to life for you, the gate to life everlasting in Heaven. That you may reside with Him for all eternity. Either you will choose the broad and easy path that leads to sorrow, death, and suffering. Paying for your own sins. Or you will choose the narrow and hard way that leads to life, joy, peace, and gladness forevermore. In this place, there is no more suffering, no more tears, sin, or sorrow ever again!
But you must turn from your life of sin, from your life of rebellion against God, to follow Jesus Christ. You must repent of your sins, ask Jesus for forgiveness, and follow Him and His ways. Please turn to Jesus today and call out to Him for forgiveness. Then determine to go through His narrow gate of life.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6
Praise be to God for the wonderful gift of forgiveness, mercy, grace, and life everlasting through His Son Jesus Christ. He is the gate to Life. He is the way God has prepared for you to follow. It is hidden too most in the world because they love their sins too much. They can not see beyond the tip of their nose. But if you seek Him you will find Him. God has made this promise and He can not lie. Repent and turn to Jesus Christ today.
I shall not die, but I shall live, and recount the deeds of the Lord. The Lord has disciplined me severely, but He has not given me over to death. Open to me the gates of righteousness, that I may enter through them and give thanks to the Lord. This is the gate of the Lord; the righteous shall enter through it.
I thank you that you have answered me and have become my salvation. The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Save us, we pray, O Lord! O Lord, we pray, give us success! Psalm 118:17-25
