Many popular preachers of this age are utterly blind to the truth and the ways of the Spirit of the Lord. They teach strange doctrines, ideas, and theories that do not lead to the righteousness of Jesus Christ. But they give rules, regulations, and commands that are in error and unwilling to follow themselves. Jesus pointed out this kind of false believer.
“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense, make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.” Matthew 23:13-15
God commands, “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8
But they do something else. Watch out for those who are false. Those who speak with smooth speech using entertainment instead of instructing you in the ways of the Lord. They teach from their understanding and even copy the teachings of others. They do not devote themselves to the Spirit of the Lord or His guidance to give proper instruction.
It is the stage they seek. It is the show and fame they crave. It is to be called Pastor, Rabbi, or Father from those they look down upon from the throne they have constructed. So they steal from the people, promising them freedom and prosperity if they only give. But they desire your tithe so that they can fill their pockets.
Then the LORD said to me, “Take once more the equipment of a foolish shepherd. For behold, I am raising up in the land a shepherd who does not care for those being destroyed, or seek the young or heal the maimed or nourish the healthy but devours the flesh of the fat ones, tearing off even their hoofs.
“Woe to my worthless shepherd, who deserts the flock! May the sword strike his arm and his right eye! Let his arm be wholly withered, his right eye utterly blinded!” Zechariah 11:15-17
“Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord GOD, “when I will send a famine on the land— not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD. They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; they shall run to and fro, to seek the word of the LORD, but they shall not find it.“On that day, the lovely virgins and the young men shall faint for thirst. Those who swear by the Guilt of Samaria and say, ‘As your god lives, O Dan,’ and, ‘As the Way of Beersheba lives,’ they shall fall and never rise again.” Amos 8:11:14
Forsake the ways of this world and the wicked mindset of men who the Lord never called to preach. Instead, devote yourself to Jesus Christ and the instruction of His Spirit. In this time of deception, you must focus only on Him and His leading, righteousness, holiness, and the purity of the Lord.
Throw off the shackles of sin and walk humbly with God, and He will lead you to the path of life and redemption, in Jesus’ name. Though it will be difficult, keep your eyes on Jesus, and avoid those who walk in the ways of wickedness and those who are swindlers in a suit.
His way is hard, difficult, and narrow, bringing afflictions, trials, and persecution. But the way that leads to life, love, righteousness, peace, and rest is accomplished through faith and trust in Jesus Christ, His Spirit, and the Almighty God who loves you. Following God’s commands are the only way that leads to a reward.
Remember, Jesus said He is the only gate to salvation. Therefore, nothing is more important than walking the right way, entering salvation through Jesus Christ, and following His way. No man will ever enter the kingdom of Heaven by following the words men. Follow the good shepherd, Jesus Christ, and turn away from the wolves in sheep’s clothing because they only desire to lie, kill, and steal from you. Follows Him faithfully to the end, and your reward will be great.
But from there you will seek the LORD your God and you will find Him if you search after Him with all your heart and with all your soul. When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, you will return to the LORD your God and obey His voice. For the LORD your God is a merciful God. He will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that He swore to them. Deuteronomy 4:29-31
I just watched this video and then read your post. Good warning, by the way. Check it out when you get time. He is warning his church about the kinds of people you spoke of. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7R6AKFlWhI
