Repent And Be Born Again

The Lord Jesus Christ loves and died for everyone, sacrificing His life, was buried and rose again, that you may live. He did this so that your sins may be forgiven and wiped out. But He will not wait for you forever; there will come a time that His patience will run out if you refuse to go to Him in humility and confess and repent for your sins.

You may say, “I have not sinned.” But be honest. Have you lied, stolen, lusted, hated anyone, coveted, murdered, deceived, dishonored your parents, or broken any of the other Laws of the Lord? We are all human and have broken many of God’s Laws because sin makes us guilty before Him and worthy of justice and judgment.

Jesus spoke about Heaven, but He also warned of Hell. Jesus is the one with who we get the most information and detail about it. It is a grave matter, and to avoid it would be derelict with the message of the Gospel.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23

“Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea. And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell, to the unquenchable fire.

And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell, ‘where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.’ For everyone will be salted with fire. Mark 9:42-49

No one wants the think or talk about Hell. Still, the reality of life and death is, will you allow Him to pay your debt? Either allow Jesus to pay for your sins on the cross, or you will spend eternity paying for your sins in Hell. Jesus took your punishment, but you must accept the terms of His offer of payment. When will you repent for your sins and follow and obey Jesus Christ as your savior? How long will God be patient with you? Please do not wait until it is too late.

Repent, therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus, whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets long ago. Acts 3:19-21

Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3
