Willing To Give It All

Are you willing to give it all to Jesus? Are you ready to abandon all else and put your faith in the Lord above all other things? Then, follow and obey Him no matter the cost or the road’s roughness. Whatever it is that God has given you to do is important. Whether it may be something huge for the Kingdom of God or small, He has designed a plan just for you according to His purpose. So whatever you do, do it heartily, cheerfully, and completely by faith in God. Remember, the righteous live by faith.

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. Colossians 2:23-24

God judges and rewards everyone for their deeds. Not by what they say they believe or what they think about doing. Not what they make others believe they have done, but by what they actually have done for God by faith.

He will render to each one according to his works: to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, He will give eternal life; but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury. There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, Romans 2:6-9

God loves your faith, righteousness, and obedience when pure, unwavering, and without doubting. He works everything out for your good according to His will when you dedicate your life to His. He rewards your righteous deeds when you trust in Him and do not hold on to the natural crutches of this world. So, trust in His plan, waiting patiently by faith for Him to act.

But my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him. Hebrews 10:38

He loves it when you are a cheerful giver. It is not all about money, which is actually something of minimal value. But God loves it when you give Him everything; your time, hopes, dreams, money, and every aspect of your life.

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7

God desires true loyalty from those who follow Him their whole life. Therefore, the holy, righteous, and trustworthy servant should follow His path instead of their own. Willing to lay down their desires for the sake of Christ Jesus and the mission He has prepared. Jesus laid down His life for you on the cross, so you must lay down your life for Him.

I the LORD search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds. Jeremiah 17:10

Don’t listen to those who try to tickle your ears, tantalizing you with deceptive words, telling you that you must make sure your checkbook balances before giving to the Lord. Many people say you must seek all your hopes and dreams before giving yourself to Him or asking God to fulfill your request before surrendering to Him.

If God’s path were not hard, it would not be walking by faith. If you follow the world’s ways or hold anything back, you are not walking by faith but sight. Many can not see past the natural, but if you have faith in God, you can walk alone with Him without fear of the future, for He upholds His children.

If you give up everything that you have or everything you ever hoped for in this life, God has promised to be faithful and carry you through to the end. He promises to provide what you need all along the way. God can not lie, and He will do as promised. He will reward those who give Him everything. He will reward the righteous and faithful far greater than anyone could imagine.

But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him” these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10

Some who are faithful will even receive a reward here on earth because they are worthy of it. But to most others, it is stored up for Heaven. No matter where your reward lies, be faithful to the end.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. Romans 8:18-19

There are very few who will genuinely give God everything. Will you sacrifice your life to fulfill God’s plan for it? Will you be one of His radically faithful servants? One that He will say, “Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.”

Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives Him who sent me. The one who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and the one who receives a righteous person because he is a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward. And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward. Matthew 10:39-42
