Beloved, do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1
In these last days before Jesus returns, before the days of tribulation come, you must draw ever closer to the Lord Jesus Christ. You must walk by the Spirit of the Lord. Your soul will depend on it. Therefore, you must focus on Him so you will not be deceived and pulled away from the truth of His Word from the narrow way of the Lord. As well as you must put away any selfish ambitions, foolish endeavors, sinful behavior, and childish things that only waste the precious time you still have.
So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation— if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good. 1 Peter 2:1-3
Unrepentant sin is the darkest blindfold that can cover the eyes of the believer. Repent and have your eyes opened to the light. Time is short. The deceiver, the devil, and all his workers of deception are out in the world. They work harder than ever, working overtime to create chaos, hatred, division, destruction, and confusion in society. Even casually mingling among the believers, unashamedly declaring themselves of the Lord, while the truth is that they are ravenous wolves. It is a spiritual battle for the very souls of mankind.
For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. Jude 1:4
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. 2 Timothy 3:1-5
Why do you think there is such a wide division of Christianity, theology, doctrine, and denomination? It is the work of the devil that divides. The spirit of the antichrist separates believers over any issue you could imagine, big or small. For centuries, they have been sent undercover into the congregants of believers for this very purpose.
For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. Matthew 24:24 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:13
So many people filling the churches’ seats play a good game of hide and deceive, even pastors, preachers, teachers, and religious leaders. They are walking in fake piety, wearing masks of deception, quoting bible verses and famous quotations, but they are workers of darkness.
They are doing and saying all the things that seem to be correct to the untrained eye. But they are deceivers, liars, and workers of secret sin, mockery, sarcasm, witchcraft, and divisiveness. They secretly reside and fight on the side of evil. May the Lord open your eyes to see and your understanding to recognize them.
This behavior is not of God. The production of rotten fruit comes from the root of a rotten heart. Are you starting to see that the outward actions and fruit is evidence of the inward spirit and heart? Stop listening to every man or woman who claims Christ and proves themselves disqualified by their words and deeds. They have the approval of men and not of God the Father.
About this, we have much to say, and it is hard to explain since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God.
You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness since he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil. Hebrews 5:11-14
Only true spiritual discernment from the Holy Spirit can reveal the truth. Only the Word that became flesh, the Lord Jesus Christ, can open your eyes to see, your ears to hear, and your soul to understand. You must seek the Lord with everything within you, repent and turn away from all sin, and walk by the Spirit. Ask Him to open your eyes so you will not be led astray by the deceiver in these last days. That your spiritual eyes may be opened.
By this, you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.
Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are from the world; therefore, they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this, we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error. 1 John 4:2-6
