The Most High Rules

Nothing but God matters. Nothing in heaven or on earth has any significance, except for what you do for the Lord. What He says, what He wills to be done. There is no task or desire of a man that trumps the divine authority and the sovereign rule of the Father.

There is no job more important, no activity more essential, no position more influential, and no obligation more crucial, than for a man or woman to be completely and totally submissive to the Lord God in every single aspect of life. The Lord right now is commanding all men to bow before Him in reverence and obedience. He is and has been holding out His hands all day long to you, that you may come and be saved, to follow and obey Him. 

I spread out my hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, following their own devices; Isaiah 65:2 As it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; Romans 3:10

He is offering you salvation and life. He is offering you forgiveness for all the many crimes and rebellious lawbreaking that you have committed against Him. How long will you refuse to come to Him? How long will you shake your puny fist against the King of Glory? He who gave you life, He who holds your eternity.

You have lied, stolen, rebelled against Him, committed murder(hate) and adultery(lust) in your heart, and many more crimes have you committed in your entire life. He is the Judge of all mankind. He will find you guilty and sentence you to His prison called hell if you do not forsake your own ways and follow Jesus.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Through Jesus Christ and His perfect sacrifice, death, burial, and resurrection He has made a way for your sins to be forgiven. But you must receive and accept His gift. You must confess your sins, repent, and turn away from your life of sin. Jesus offers eternal life and forgiveness through the giving of the Holy Spirit.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

In this way, you will be turning your back on all other things in this world. As an example, to follow Jesus would be like a loyal dog following his master wherever he goes, without question and without hesitation. Nothing else is important to you except the Lord and His will for your life.

May the Lord put His hand upon you and press you so greatly that after a time of hard struggle and refusal to look and listen, you will be like king Nebuchadnezzar. (Daniel 4) You will lift your eyes to the heavens and praise, bless, and honor the One who lives forever and ever. Who rules and reigns over all creation and no one will be able to question Him or say, “What have you done?” Then you will turn to Him that He may save you.

At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored Him who lives forever, for His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom endures from generation to generation; all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and He does according to His will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay His hand or say to Him, “What have you done?” Daniel 4:34-35
