The world surely is in the very last days. All it takes is a good look around the world we live in and you can see that the time is drawing very close, it is at the door, stumbling over the threshold without knowing it.
The people of this world are calling good evil and evil good. They are running rampant in their love of sin, arrogance, pride, abusiveness, depravity, wickedness, and are trapped in the deceptiveness of religion and the traditions of men.
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. 2 Timothy 3:1-5
People are panicking and fearing for their lives like nothing else, like nothing we have ever seen before. They are scared, spooked, and fearful of everything from the changing of seasons, the blowing of the wind, to someones’ little cough. They fear anything that might impact their comfort and a false sense of security. Fearing everything except for God.
People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. Luke 21:26
Pray the Lord will give you insight, peace, and understanding, that you will not fear the things that are to come. Yes, this will be a difficult and fearful time. But our Lord is in control.
And there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains. Matthew 24:7-8
Do not give into fear or be afraid. These times have to come and the Lord must bring His Word into fulfillment. No matter what happens, honor God with your life.
Do not fear what they fear, nor be in dread. Isaiah 8:12
May it be in life or in death, put on love, hope, and faith trusting in Him fully, giving the Lord Jesus Christ all honor, glory, and praise in all that you do.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-11
1 Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. 2 For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
4 But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. 5 For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness.
6 So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at night.
8 But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation. 9 For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him. 11 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
