Great Is His Faithfulness

Great is the faithfulness of the Lord God Almighty. Those who put their complete faith in Him and let go of the things of this world will be incredibly blessed by His love and faithfulness to them. He is their portion, rest, peace, firm foundation, strong tower, and help in time of need. He is their Abba Father, whose love is everlasting. He is their confidence, strength, hope, joy, and love forevermore.

Give everything over into His hands without fear or doubt. He will open the right doors at the right time and shut those He never intended you to walk through. With this understanding, you will be able to move forward in full trust and confidence that the Lord your God is in control.

He will be the one to direct your path even when you do not see Him, He is there. Lean on Him and not on your own understanding. He knows what is good and what is best. Praise the Lord!

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

He is with you, He will never leave you, and never will He forsake you. This and so much more are His perfect promises and His steadfast love toward those He calls His own. He is trustworthy and true.

Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6

Many times and in many ways the Lord places you right smack in the middle of the fire and in an abundance of afflictions. But do not be afraid. His word says, after you have endured for a time, the Lord Himself will take you from that fire renewed and refined to shine brilliantly for His glory.

For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:11

Like a silversmith sits and watches over silver being refined in the fire. To bring it to perfection, he is careful not to ruin the silver until it reflect His face. God will hold you in His refiners’ fire until all the impurities have been burned away. Until His image is reflected back to His face. That means you are ready for what He has ahead. You will be prepared.

For He is like a refiner’s fire and like fullers’ soap. He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and He will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, and they will bring offerings in righteousness to the LORD. Malachi 3:2-3

He does not let anything go to waste. But He uses every trial and test to shape, stretch, mold, and purify you into His beautiful image.

And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people’; and they will say, ‘The LORD is my God.’ Zechariah 13:9

Great is His faithfulness and great is His steadfast love. That He does not leave you in a place of suffering for long. Praise the Lord again! But He delivers and gives His servants great joy, peace, and rejoicing when the work is done.

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. Psalm 103:1-5

Just as a loving father picks up his child and comforts them, speaking kindness, and lovingly soothing their tears. Your loving Heavenly Father picks you up and loves you. Praise Him and give God all the glory, honor, and praise. Worship your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for all He has done. Sing for joy for all the Lord has done, tell of His excellent greatness, and of His wonderful mercies all day long.

But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in Him.”

The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth. Let him sit alone in silence when it is laid on him;  Lamentations 3:21-28
