The Lord Is Coming

You may not know it, but the Lord has sent His servants out to sound the alarm to warn you that you are in great danger. Are you paying attention? Are you listening? Do you understand why you are in danger? Or are you ignoring all of the warnings? But you are in trouble, and you may not even know it. Therefore, God is calling out to all mankind to turn from sin. Because there is judgment appointed for every person for all the wrong, they did against His holy Law.

Many people worry about all the natural things in this world. They worry about the climate, earthquakes, weather, and others fear things that may threaten their life. But, then, there are also diseases, crime, war, and conflict. However, these are things to be concerned about; the most significant problem of mankind is their sinful nature.

Everyone will have to stand before God and in judgment for everything they have ever done, good and bad. Hell is waiting for sinners, and Heaven is for the righteous. God calls all to repent and turn from sin because it leads to death and eternal punishment. Did you know this?

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

I am sounding the alarm and telling you that everyone has a deadly disease that no one will ever escape without a cure. The disease is sin, and Jesus is the cure. He is the only way you will make it to Heaven and escape from paying for all your sins in Hell.

Unfortunately, many believe that those who are good enough will go to Heaven, perhaps by outweighing their bad with the good they do. However, some believe they are too far gone for any hope of salvation. Then others think they are good people and will be accepted into Heaven, no problem.

I pray that you will have the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you, what are the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, Ephesians 1:18

Are you good enough for Heaven, or should you be afraid of Hell? Do you know there is a way to test yourself? There is hope and a way out if you are willing to listen and obey. So let us look into this and see if you are good enough.

How many lies have you told in your life? What would you call someone who tells lies? You would call them liars, of course. Have you ever stolen anything? Regardless of the value of the things taken, it is stealing. The truth is you would be a lying thief. It is a serious accusation. But judge yourself and be honest about what is true.

Wisdom comes from honesty and is the beginning point where you can find understanding. Have you ever coveted something that was not your own? Have you ever taken God’s name in vain, blasphemy? Blasphemy is using the name of Jesus Christ as a cuss word. If so, you would be covetous and a blasphemer. These are just a few of the Commandments God has given us to obey. You may have heard of them referred to as the Ten Commandments.

Have you ever hated anyone, looked at someone with lust, or hated anyone? You may not have realized this before, but you have broken God’s Law and committed adultery and murder in your heart. He sees you as a lawbreaker, a criminal because of your lying, stealing, coveting, blasphemous, murdering, adulterous heart. Don’t stop reading because there is hope for you.

Jesus said, “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.” Matthew 5:21-22

Jesus also said, “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”  Matthew 5:27-28

The truth is that God has warned all mankind that because of their sins, there is punishment to come. There is a terrible place called Hell where He sends those guilty of sin, where every sinner will suffer for all Eternity. Have you judged yourself and found that you would be guilty?

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death. Revelation 21:8

It is 100% guaranteed that you will die someday. Then, you must stand before the Lord and receive everything you have earned, compensation for your sins, for everything you have done, in word, thought, and deed.

“For all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God, and are justified by His grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, Romans 3:23

Wow, that is very frightening once you think about it. I hope the sirens in your soul alert you to the warnings. I do not want you to Hell. You may not understand, but I am doing you a huge favor by warning you of your danger.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is Eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord” Romans 6:23

But rejoice because there is hope. God has made a way for you can go to Heaven. He has a plan for your life and Eternity if you are willing to turn to Jesus and away from sin.

“But God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but will have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already because He has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” John 3:16

God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to the earth to live a perfect life so that He might be a perfect sacrifice to pay for your sins. For all the sins of the world. To all those who would put their faith and hope in Him. He intentionally; went to the cross, was beaten, whipped, scourged, suffered, died, and took the complete Wrath of God that we all deserve. He was buried and, three days later, by God’s power, was raised to life. He defeated sin and death for all time.

He did this wonderful and loving thing for you. Yes, for you, because He cares for your soul. Jesus Christ loves you more than you can imagine. He is not like men or women, with minimal love. He is love.

Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with His wounds, we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—everyone—to His own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:4-6

You do not need to fear death if you give yourself to Jesus. If you turn from all your many sins and wicked way of living, He will save you. If you repent, turn away from sin, and turn to Him, He will forgive you. He commands all men to turn from wickedness, follow, and obey Him. Then He promises He will forgive, renew, and restore you before the Lord.

Being then God’s offspring, we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man. The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent because He has fixed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom He has appointed, and of this, He has given assurance to all by raising Him from the dead.” Acts 17:29-31

What is more important than your eternal soul? These pleasures and earthly moments of enjoyment are so short and fleeting. Who hasn’t said, “it seems like just yesterday….” How they drift away and are blown like the dust of the air; how they wither so quickly like a flower in the sun’s heat.

If you have read this far, it may be for a purpose. Have you been seeking hope? Here it is, right in front of you. I plead with you to consider your life carefully. Consider how short it is and Eternity, how long it is. Consider the punishment of sin and the hope I have given you today through Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Do not look back at this time when it is too late and regret that you did not heed the loud warning and signals to look to the Savior. Do not close your ears to the blaring sirens sounding to warn you. Instead, repent and turn to Jesus Christ as your Savior from sin and death.

For He says, “In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2

Now is the day of salvation. Now is the time to turn to Jesus. Remember, you are not promised another moment; over 150,000 people die each day. Please cry out to God that He may open your eyes to see, your heart to feel, and your ears to hear. Pay attention to the warning.

Turn to Jesus, and seek Him with all your heart, mind, strength, and soul. He promises that if you do, You will find Him. Find a Bible and start reading the book of John. Fall on your knees and cry out to Him to save you. Pray to Him from the heart. He will hear and forgive those who humble themselves and repent.
