Jesus Take My Hand

He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Psalm 23:2-3

There will be times as you walk by faith in God that because of your faithfulness God and your dedication to Him, you will be attacked, accused, despised, and hated. But the Lord is with you. He will keep and guard your steps, hold your hand, and not let your foot slip. He will hold you fast and never let go.

You may be tempted to bark back at the evildoers, but the Holy Spirit will restrain your actions. You may have to learn severe lessons and endure difficult discipline. But it is all for your good and growth, that you may be spiritually mature in the Lord. Prepared for what is ahead.

May your face always be fixed on Jesus. May you hold His hand and follow Him with the faith of a child, with no doubt.

For the Lord God is your protector. He is your teacher, your guide. He will never leave you or forsake you.

But as you continue to humble yourself before Him, as you seek to follow and obey Him in every way. Hold on to Him, lean on Him, and do not listen to all the naysayers of this world. The Lord has orchestrated His great plan, He has worked it all out, He is about to unfold everything.

The Lord is on the move.

Psalm 141

1 O Lord, I call upon you; hasten to me! Give ear to my voice when I call to you! 2 Let my prayer be counted as incense before you, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice!

3 Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips! 4 Do not let my heart incline to any evil, to busy myself with wicked deeds in company with men who work iniquity, and let me not eat of their delicacies!

5 Let a righteous man strike me—it is a kindness; let him rebuke me—it is oil for my head; let my head not refuse it. Yet my prayer is continually against their evil deeds.

6 When their judges are thrown over the cliff, then they shall hear my words, for they are pleasant. 7 As when one plows and breaks up the earth, so shall our bones be scattered at the mouth of Sheol.

8 But my eyes are toward you, O God, my Lord; in you I seek refuge; leave me not defenseless! 9 Keep me from the trap that they have laid for me and from the snares of evildoers! 10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, while I pass by safely.
