Jesus Take My Hand

He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Psalm 23:2-3

There will be times as you walk by faith in God, in your dedication to Him, that attacks, accusations, and hatred from men will be a significant part of your life. But the Lord is with you. He will keep and guard your steps, hold your hand, and not let your foot slip. He will hold you fast and bring you through it all.

You may be tempted to bark back at the evildoers. But in those times, the Holy Spirit will restrain your actions. You may have to learn severe lessons and endure difficult discipline. But it is all for your good and growth that you may be spiritually mature in the Lord and prepared for the fight ahead. May your face always be fixed on Jesus. May you hold His hand and follow Him with the faith of a child, with no doubt.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith, who, for the joy set before Him, endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2

For the Lord God is your protector. He is your teacher, your guide. He will never leave you or forsake you. Seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who is God, who is Jesus Christ. Let Him take your hand and teach you the right way to act so that your deeds mirror His ways.

But as you continue to humble yourself before Him, as you seek to follow and obey Him in every way. Hold on to Jesus, lean on Him, and do not listen to all the naysayers of this world. Do not listen to the foul mouths of the wicked, who curse your goodness.

Also, don’t be fooled into thinking they are only outside the church. For the wicked have swarmed the pews and pulpits. What better way for the Devil to get his revenge against God than to overtake the churches and cast out the righteous?

But trust God and do the right thing. He will have His way against the Devil and his followers in time. They will not escape their end. The Lord has orchestrated His great plan perfectly. We know that this world will continue to get worse as time goes on. But it will all work out according to His will.

Praise the Lord; He knows the beginning to the end. Nothing or no one could pull the wool over His eyes. He is about to unfold all things. The Lord is on the move. What He has promised, He will surely do. So keep close to Him so that He may take your hand and guide you in the ways that are good and right.

O Lord, I call upon you; hasten to me! Give ear to my voice when I call to you! Let my prayer be counted as incense before you and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice! Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips! Do not let my heart incline to any evil, to busy myself with wicked deeds in company with men who work iniquity, and let me not eat of their delicacies!

Let a righteous man strike me—it is a kindness; let him rebuke me—it is oil for my head; let my head not refuse it. Yet my prayer is continually against their evil deeds. When their judges are thrown over the cliff, then they shall hear my words, for they are pleasant. As when one plows and breaks up the earth, so shall our bones be scattered at the mouth of Sheol.

But my eyes are toward you, O God, my Lord; in you, I seek refuge; leave me not defenseless! Keep me from the trap that they have laid for me and from the snares of evildoers! Let the wicked fall into their own nets while I pass by safely. Psalm 141
