He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Psalm 23:2-3
There will be times as you walk by faith in God, in your faithfulness and dedication to Him, that you will be attacked, accused, despised, and hated by men. But the Lord is with you. He will keep and guard your steps, hold your hand, and not let your foot slip. He will hold you fast and bring you through it all.
You may be tempted to bark back at the evildoers. But the Holy Spirit will restrain your actions. You may have to learn severe lessons and endure difficult discipline. But it is all for your good and growth, that you may be spiritually mature in the Lord. Prepared for the fight ahead.
May your face always be fixed on Jesus. May you hold His hand and follow Him with the faith of a child, with no doubt.
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
For the Lord God is your protector. He is your teacher, your guide. He will never leave you or forsake you. Seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who is God, who is Jesus Christ, above and beyond anything that men say.
He is the final authority. Not the opinions and ideas of men.
But as you continue to humble yourself before Him, as you seek to follow and obey Him in every way. Hold on to Him, lean on Him, and do not listen to all the naysayers of this world. Do not listen to the loose foul unbelieving mouths of the wicked.
Also, don’t be fooled into thinking that they are only outside the church. For the wicked have swarmed the pews and pulpits. What better way for the devil to get his revenge against God but to overtake the churches and cast out the righteous.
But God will have His way against both the Devil and his followers. They will not escape their end.
The Lord has orchestrated His great plan. He has worked it all out. He knew it from the beginning to the end. Nothing or no one could pull the wool over His eyes.
He is about to unfold all things! The Lord is on the move!
O Lord, I call upon you; hasten to me! Give ear to my voice when I call to you! Let my prayer be counted as incense before you, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice!
Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips! Do not let my heart incline to any evil, to busy myself with wicked deeds in company with men who work iniquity, and let me not eat of their delicacies!
Let a righteous man strike me—it is a kindness; let him rebuke me—it is oil for my head; let my head not refuse it. Yet my prayer is continually against their evil deeds.
When their judges are thrown over the cliff, then they shall hear my words, for they are pleasant. As when one plows and breaks up the earth, so shall our bones be scattered at the mouth of Sheol.
But my eyes are toward you, O God, my Lord; in you I seek refuge; leave me not defenseless! Keep me from the trap that they have laid for me and from the snares of evildoers! Let the wicked fall into their own nets, while I pass by safely. Psalm 141
