Sometimes you may think that you are not doing enough for God with your life and could be doing so much more. It may seem that some things block your path and prevent you from doing what you may think you should be doing. Yet, perhaps the more significant things you desire to do for God are waiting for you in the future, and your spirit is drawing you towards them in preparation. Keep trusting the Lord. He has a good plan.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
Remember, first, God tests us with little things before He gives us more significant responsibility. Everyone has a start, a beginning, and then grows into maturity, able to handle more, perhaps moving toward a greater leadership role according to God’s plan.
But listen to what Jesus said and keep moving forward, doing the little assignments He has given you to build up the kingdom of God. The little seeds you sow will grow and accomplish much more for His kingdom than you realize. Every mighty tree started from a single seed.
Every servant of the Lord has their own path and destination God has designed for them. Seek Him daily to guide, instruct, and help you achieve every goal He places before you. Walk His path humbly and confidently in Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit as your guide. There is no other way to know what steps you must take next than to seek His guidance.
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will exalt you. James 4:10
You will get there when you walk by faith in God. Then, before you know it, instead of just a small sprout, you will grow into a mighty tree of wisdom, strength, and boldness to accomplish everything the Father has planned for you to do for His glory.
He said, therefore, “What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his garden, and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air made nests in its branches.”
And again, He said, “To what shall I compare the kingdom of God? It is like leaven that a woman took and hid in three measures of flour until it was all leavened.” Luke 13:18-21
