Have you ever looked at the beauty of the world, the complexities of the universe, and the intricacies of the human body? They are so incredibly complex. How is it that everything has such purpose and order? It could not have done this on its own.
Take the human eye, for example, it is said to have over ninety million cells. The cells collect light and communicate a clear picture of information to the brain. In this way, you can see the beauty of a sunset over an ocean. The majestic scenery of a mountain range, the plentiful greenery of a hidden valley, or the majestic starlight of the night sky. How can it be, that the human eye is able to function so efficiently? Something so intricate in function could have never happened by chance, considering a camera lens is far inferior to the eye. Clearly, it was designed.
Have you ever wondered if there is more to this life? Is there someone who put everything into order? Is there more than what meets the eye? Is there a God who has made all things and rules over them all? Is there a Heaven where joy and happiness are given to those who were good, upright, and just? Those forgiven by God. If there is a place for the good, doesn’t that mean there is a place for the wicked and cruel? Those who disobeyed the Words of this God, who have broken His Law.
Look at all the things that surround you. The tall skyscrapers shape the city skyline. The cell phone that you hold in your hand. The fact that they exist is evidence that they were designed by a designer or built by a builder. Someone with great intelligence and knowledge crafted the pieces together in such a perfect way that they work and perform a function exactly as they were intended.
Since this is true, then don’t you see that creation and the whole universe had to have a designer and builder? It screams out that there has to be a Creator, someone who formed everything into perfect order. Someone with great intelligence, knowledge, and wisdom created this incredibly complex universe we live in. Who conceived the idea of all things, created them, and put them into place. A creation that is so much more elaborate and complex than anything that man has ever conceived or created. Much more than just the human eye.
I have an important question for you. Do you think you are a “Good Person?” Do you think you are good enough to go to Heaven someday when this life is over? Think about this carefully and consider these next several questions. Check yourself to see if you are good. If you are worthy of such a gift as Heaven. If that is even how it works.
How many lies have you told in your lifetime? Even fibs, half-truths, and white lies are still considered a lie. If you have that would make you a liar. Have you ever stolen anything? It doesn’t matter how big or small it is, if it wasn’t yours, that would make you a theft. God says that those who break His rules are sinners and lawbreakers.
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Have you taken God’s name in vain? Such as saying “Oh My God” or “Jesus Christ”? This is using God’s name as a curse word or even using it flippantly with no regard to the name you are using. If someone was to use your mother’s name as a curse word, you would be very offended. And God says, He will not hold anyone guiltless who takes my name in vain.
Have you ever looked at someone with lustful intent? To lust with sexual desire for them. God says that if you do you have committed adultery with them already in your heart. Not to mention committing adultery outright.
Jesus said, “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” Matthew 5:27-28
If you have done these things, God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart. The Bible warns that one day God will punish all those who break His Law, The Ten Commandments. We have only gone over four of them and it is not looking good for you. You are just like everyone else on this planet, we are sinners. We have all sinned and fallen short of the standards of God.
He is a righteous and pure God, holy and just. He can not allow any wickedness or sin, those who are not good, into Heaven. He will judge you after you die and find you guilty. Then He will be forced to send you to a terrible place called Hell. This is like His prison for those who break His commandments.
But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8
He does not want you to go there, but He must punish sin where it is found.
God says to them, “As I live, declares the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways, for why will you die,” Ezekiel 33:11
You can not pay for your own sins. Doing good deeds to try to outweigh what you have done wrong will have no effect. The judge does not care what good you have done in the past or in the present when He is judging you for the crimes you have committed. If you try to use your good deeds, it becomes even worse for you. Because it is like trying to bribe the judge. No good judge looks kindly at a bribe. If He does, he is guilty himself.
“For all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23. It is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, Hebrews 9:27
What are you to do? Your only hope is that someone else pays your fine. Because the cost of your redemption is far too high. Someone else must save you from this horrible fate. But who can do this thing? Who can pay for your sins? But do not worry, there is good news to come.
It is one hundred percent guaranteed that you will die someday and you will have to stand before God on Judgement Day. But did you know that there is hope for you? Did you know that God did a wonderful and amazing thing for you? Because of His great love for you, God is not willing that any should perish. Even though you are a sinner. His mercy and grace are out of this world. But God did make a way for your salvation.
But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved. Ephesians 2:4-5
Jesus Christ paid your fine when He died on the Cross. He shed His blood for the payment of your sins and mine. He took the entire wrath of God on your account, paying the debt you deserve for your sins. This means that God can legally dismiss your case. But you have to agree to His terms of redemption. You have to turn from sin and follow Him.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” John 3:16-18
Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and then by the power of God rose again on the third day. He defeated sin and death. In this way, because He was a perfect sacrifice for your sins, He paid the penalty for your sins. He can offer you forgiveness if you would just turn to Him. He is waiting for you to turn repent and do as He commands.
I spread out my hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, following their own devices; Isaiah 65:2
Today you have a choice, life or death, heaven or Hell. But you need to confess your sins to God. Repent, which means to turn away from your life of sin. This is a change of mind. Believe in Him putting your faith and trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Following Him in all your ways. If you do this from your heart, repent, and believe that Jesus Christ is God and your Savior, God promises to forgive you of all your sins.
Then He will grant you eternal life as a free gift. No longer will you be condemned to Hell and punishment. Heaven will be your reward for your faithfulness to Him, where there is no crying, tears, sorrow, pain, or even the memory of such things again. If you seek the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, He will be found by you.
He says, “I will hear you, and you will find Me.”
Then read the Bible daily and obey what God says to you through His Word. Seek to be reborn into the Spirit of the Lord. Because He also says, “you must be born again.”
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. John 6:63
I would suggest starting with the book of John and then the first three books in the New Testament. Please consider this carefully and turn to God for the forgiveness of your sins today.
If you truly seek Him, He will save you. He will give you a new heart and a new mind that will desire what is good. Do not wait until tomorrow! You don’t know the day or hour that you will die! Tomorrow may be too late!
Follow and obey Him in everything He commands. Work to build the Kingdom of God and great will be your reward in Heaven. Yes, He also promises a great reward to those who follow, obey, and serve Him. This decision is the most important choice you will ever make. Do not look back and regret your decision to ignore this message. Because there is nothing more important than your eternal soul.
“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?” Matthew 16:26
