The Lord God is everlasting, He is all-encompassing, and never changing. His hand of influence and control spans from the beginning of all things far into eternity.
“There is none like God, O Jeshurun, who rides through the heavens to your help, through the skies in his majesty.
The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. And he thrust out the enemy before you and said, ‘Destroy‘. Deuteronomy 33:26-27
Do not think for a moment that He is or ever could be like a man. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, all-present, and completely sovereign over all things and at all times. He is inscrutable, incorruptible, and invincible. What He says goes. He declares it and it happens. He puts His hand upon everything and makes them complete.
Who is there greater than Him to trust? Who can stand against our God? What is there to fear when He is our protector? Why should you ever fear man or anything?
God is not man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change his mind. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not fulfill it? Numbers 23:19
Jesus Christ is the holy, righteous, and only Son of God, who is and was and is yet to come again. In Him is our security and eternity established and held. He is the same for all eternity, never changing, and He is in complete perfection and control.
There will be absolutely nothing that He has said or declared that will not come to pass. He judges the nations and rules supreme overall. No one and nothing will ever pluck you from His hand.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8
Our God is an awesome God. A God of love, compassion, and great mercy. He delights in those He loves and those who trust, follow, and depend upon Him.
He shines brightly upon them and they will shine like bright stars.
He does not and will not change. What He has started He will finish. What He has declared to be will bring to fulfillment. His Word proves true.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. James 1:17
