Eternally Placed And Fixed

So you are looking to the future. You believe God directs your path. But it seems frightening, not knowing what is ahead. The way seems unsure. The bridge you must cross seems impassable, and the hope you once had seems so far off.

The devil has been continually trying to cut the cords of your life. Because he knows the Lord has great plans and a great purpose for you. But remember he is no match for your Lord, who chose you, plucked you out of the fire, and set you upon His Rock. God sees you as the apple of His eye and will bring you safely to His destination. Have faith.

Jesus said, “While I was with them, I protected and preserved them by Your name, the name. You gave Me. Not one of them has been lost, except the son of destruction, so that the Scripture would be fulfilled.” John 17:12

If it wasn’t for God’s sacrifice and blood that bought you, the cliffs, valleys, and pitfalls would have killed you by their great perils. If it weren’t for the mighty hand of the Lord Jesus Christ, the devil’s traps would have destroyed you. You would have never made it, and the evil ones would have taken you down the wrong road. But praise be to God; He leads, guides, and protects His chosen ones. He is the one who brought you through it all.

I love the LORD because He has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because He inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call on Him as long as I live. The snares of death encompassed me; the pangs of Sheol laid hold on me; I suffered distress and anguish. Then I called on the name of the LORD: “O LORD, I pray, deliver my soul!” Psalm 116:1-4

And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall lose none of those He has given Me, but raise them up at the last day. John 6:39

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. John 10:27-28

You know who you have believed, Jesus. Be confident in the power of your Savior and His Holy Spirit. Do not look to the left or right. Keep your face fixed firmly on Jesus Christ, your love, savior, and confidence. Trust the Lord will lead you to the end. To great works for the Lord. Because it is all about Jesus, He never fails you because He is faithful.

But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that He is able to guard until that day what has been entrusted to me. 2 Timothy 1:12 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16

Keep Him in full remembrance, the Lord; He is God. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-surpassing. Anyone and anything that stands in opposition to Him will not succeed, for He has dominion, power, rule, and authority over all.

He has promised, “I will be with you, I will defend you, I will keep you, and I will protect you.” 

He was at your beginning, crafting and creating you in His perfection. He was with you every step of the way. Though you may have stumbled, stammered, and fallen. He is merciful and was right there to pick you up. He will heal you with His loving hands.

Praise God; He was always there and will always be with you to the end. Your work is not vain, but it is worth the great effort to honor the Lord and help others. What a day it will be when the Lord congratulates you in the presence of all the hosts of Heaven. So believe Him and do not doubt. Trust Him, and do not turn back. Be faithful, and He will be faithful to you.

His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ Matthew 25:23

With the merciful, You will show Yourself merciful; With a blameless man, You will show Yourself blameless; With the pure, You will show Yourself pure; And with the devious, You will show Yourself shrewd. For You will save the humble people But will bring down haughty looks. Psalm 18:25-27
