Your faith was once small, you were once weak, you were once pulled this way and that. But now you are strong, for the Lord has put turned your weakness into His strength.
Make your faith is secure, firm, and grounded on the Rock, who is Jesus Christ our Lord. He is the firm foundation that will plant your feet securely in faith that you may not be moved.
But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2:19
The struggle has been real and it has been long, hard, and difficult. You had to sacrifice so very much for the cause of Christ Jesus your King. You will not lose anything that He has in store for you. Though there may have been things of this world you have lost, the eternal will not be lost.
He has been with you this whole time. He has been your constant support through every storm and every valley. You will receive so much more because of your endurance and faithfulness.
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in Him.” Lamentations 3:22-24
He is the One who has equipped you. His armor has been your bulwark, your defensive wall. Upon His Word, you stand and will defeat the works of the enemy. His Spirit, power, and authority are with His faithful ones. Though you fall you will rise stronger than before.
For the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity. Proverbs 24:16
He is the One who has strengthened your mind, body, heart, and soul. He gave you the skills to wage a holy war against the devil and his demons. He has already defeated them in the name of Jesus Christ.
Don’t forget where your confidence lays. “You have need of endurance.” Very soon He will return and He will find you faithful. He will give you all the help you are in need of until that time. So do not shrink back. Do not worry or fear.
The Lord is in complete control and will establish everything according to His perfect will.
But recall the former days when, after you were enlightened, you endured a hard struggle with sufferings, sometimes being publicly exposed to reproach and affliction, and sometimes being partners with those so treated.
For you had compassion on those in prison, and you joyfully accepted the plundering of your property, since you knew that you yourselves had a better possession and an abiding one.
Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.
For, “Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay; but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls. Hebrews 10:32-39
