His Righteous Ones

The Lord speaks to those He chooses. Your faith may be small; you may be weak and feel like life is pulling you in many different ways. But in time, the Lord will make you strong, for the Lord will turn your weakness into strength. Put your faith in Him. Make it secure, firm, and grounded on the Rock of Jesus Christ, your Lord. He is the firm foundation that will plant your feet securely by faith. He is the one who will keep you strong through any storm.

But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2:19

The struggle has been real, and it has been long and arduous. You had to sacrifice so very much for the sake of Jesus your King. You will not lose anything He has promised, nor have you gone astray. But if your eyes are on Him, you are on His road, the road to glory. Though there may have been things of this world, you have lost. You will gain one hundred times that in eternity. You have not lost at all. But you won.

It may not seem like it, but God has been with you this whole time. He has been close to your side, counseling, instructing, and directing your every step. He was your constant support through every storm and every valley. Keep the faith and stay on the narrow road with Jesus Christ; the reward you are laying in Heaven will be great.

The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in Him.” Lamentations 3:22-24

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21

God is the One who has equipped you. His armor has been your bulwark, your defensive wall. Upon His Word, you stand and will defeat the enemy’s works in Jesus’ name. His Spirit, power, and authority are with you. Believe it even in the face of struggle, and stand firm in the Lord.

For the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity. Proverbs 24:16

Remember where your confidence lies. Through the Word, He says, “You have need of endurance.” God will give you all the help you need, but until then, stand firm, do not shrink back, and do not worry or fear. The Lord is in complete control and will establish everything according to His perfect will and plan. Stand strong; the Lord is with you always and will continue to carry you through to the end.

But recall the former days when, after you were enlightened, you endured a hard struggle with suffering, sometimes being publicly exposed to reproach and affliction and sometimes being partners with those so treated. For you had compassion on those in prison, and you joyfully accepted the plundering of your property since you knew that you yourselves had a better possession and an abiding one.

Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what is promised. For, “Yet a little while and the coming one will come and will not delay, but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed but of those who have faith and preserve their souls. Hebrews 10:32-39
