Persevere, The Lord is in Control

Who is it that will please God, but the Faithful. Who is it that will do God’s will, but the obedient. Who is it that will know the right thing to do, but the Wise. Who is it that will prosper in all they do, but the one who seeks God and His will. But the fool will come to ruin and his hand will cause his own demise.

God is the one who can make the righteous path straight, and the foolish path crooked! Who is it that can change anything the Lord has decreed? God is the one who can make the hard heart soft! The one who makes the twisted mind pure! God is the one who controls it all.

Don’t fret, don’t worry, don’t ask why this and why that! Why is all this happening? But trust in the Lord for everything. His plan is perfect and everything is for His purposes. Everything that happens will happen according to His will and in His perfect time.

Wait for His timing and for His will to be done. But fight for what is right and for what He has directed you to do. Fight for it, for the devil so much wants to derail you, discourage you, and destroy you.

But stand firm in your hope and trust in the Lord. For if you are under adversity, persevere, if prosperity comes, rejoice! For God has made them both and has given you both, that His purposes may be accomplished in your life.

Ecclesiastes 7:8-14

8 Better is the end of a thing than its beginning, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. 9 Be not quick in your spirit to become angry, for anger lodges in the heart of fools. 10 Say not, “Why were the former days better than these?” For it is not from wisdom that you ask this.

11 Wisdom is good with an inheritance, an advantage to those who see the sun. 12 For the protection of wisdom is like the protection of money, and the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom preserves the life of him who has it.

13 Consider the work of God: who can make straight what he has made crooked? 14 In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider: God has made the one as well as the other, so that man may not find out anything that will be after him.
