The wicked of this world is poised, set, and ready to pounce upon the vulnerable. In these last days, they are showing their true colors. It shows how they despise authority and intend to display their wickedness for the world. They no longer care for the rules and laws of the land. They have absolutely no concern for the commandments of the Lord. They are proving this right before our eyes.
We are seeing just a glimpse of what is to come. The wicked have been waiting in the shadows. They have been hiding in the darkness, fearing they may be exposed too early if they come into the light. But now, the time is here when that has all changed. They have come out in plain sight and demand you approve of their evil.
And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only He [the Holy Spirit] who now restrains it will do so until He is out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of His mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of His coming. 2 Thessalonians 2:6-8
The day of the Lord is drawing very close. The Lord will come soon, bringing justice to the land and rewarding His righteous and faithful servants. Then, he will give one last chance to all to repent and turn to Him. Will you turn to Jesus or rebel?
But the wicked will become more corrupt; their hearts will be more consumed by their wickedness, scheming, and conniving ways. God is merciful to all, but His patience is close to its end. But even to them, there is a chance; the opportunity of grace is before them if they turn to Jesus.
But understand this, that in the last days, there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 2 Timothy 3:1-4
We are living in the last hour. You need to be busy doing the work God has given you so that you may be made complete in His sight. He is defeating the schemes of the devil. But you must be busy purifying your heart, delivering souls from the devil’s clutches, and finishing the work He has placed in your hands.
Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour. 1 John 2:18
Do not lose heart or faint. But strengthen yourself in the Lord and by the power of the Holy Spirit so that you may stand firm until the end that you may finish well. Very shortly, the Lord will come. Only He knows how long it will be. But it will be soon. When you follow Him, the Lord will accomplish everything necessary to complete your mission when you walk with Him by faith.
For, “Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay; but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.” Hebrews 10:37-38
It is the Lord God who Reigns. It is He who made the land and the sea. It is the Lord God Almighty who created the heavens and the earth. He rules over all in magnificent splendor, and no one will sway His hand or change His mind. His reward will be with the righteous, and His wrath will be upon the wicked.
Whatever happens will happen according to His plan, purpose, and timing. We may think many things should happen, but the Lord knows what is best, and He will be right on time. Those who love and follow the Lord will see life and live in His rest. The wicked will not; they will fade away like a wax figure placed before a blast furnace. The Lord will repay them for all their wrongdoing if they refuse to turn from their wicked ways.
But in all these things, we know, He is in control. So we turn our hearts toward Him to follow by faith and give Him all our praise and thanks for all He has done for us. All glory, honor, and praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ for His righteous and just plan. We can’t wait to see everything fulfilled.
We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks, for your name is near. We recount your wondrous deeds. “At the set time that I appoint, I will judge with equity. When the earth totters, and all its inhabitants, it is I who keep steady its pillars. Selah
I say to the boastful, ‘Do not boast,’ and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horn; do not lift up your horn on high, or speak with haughty neck.’” For not from the east or from the west and not from the wilderness comes lifting up, but it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another.
For in the hand of the Lord, there is a cup with foaming wine, well mixed, and He pours out from it, and all the wicked of the earth shall drain it down to the dregs. But I will declare it forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob. All the horns of the wicked I will cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up. Psalm 75
