The Marvel Of God’s Wisdom

The Word of God says many things about how great it is to have wisdom. Wisdom is better than gold, silver, rubies, precious jewels, strength, and weapons of war. How much better it will be for you to ask and seek God’s wisdom rather than all the riches and power the world has to offer?

Even if you have little knowledge and strength, the wisdom God gives will prove to be more profitable than all the rest. Seek God’s wisdom and use it. Your life will be transformed and kept from falling into all the foolish traps of this world, to avoid those harmful pitfalls. By following the ways of the Lord, He will direct your steps in all your ways.

I have also seen this example of wisdom under the sun, and it seemed great to me. There was a little city with few men in it, and a great king came against it and besieged it, building great siegeworks against it. But there was found in it a poor, wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city.

Yet no one remembered that poor man. But I say that wisdom is better than might, though the poor man’s wisdom is despised and his words are not heard. The words of the wise heard in quiet are better than the shouting of a ruler among fools. Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good. Ecclesiastes 9:13-18

Through His wisdom, your eyes will be opened. Those things that pulled you down in the past, those same tricks and schemes of the devil will have no effect on you anymore. Don’t worry if men neglect to notice you. Don’t have a care if they don’t acknowledge the work you are doing for the Lord. God sees it.

Their opinions don’t matter. It is the acknowledgment of the Lord and His approval that is best. If they ridicule you, it is their own foolishness. But if you desire to do His will. It is His wisdom that you are walking in. In the end, you will be honored by the Lord and they will be seen for who they really are. Redemption will be your portion when you walk in the wisdom of the Lord.

By wisdom, a house is built, and by understanding, it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is full of strength, and a man of knowledge enhances his might, for by wise guidance you can wage your war, and in abundance of counselors there is victory. Wisdom is too high for a fool; in the gate, he does not open his mouth. Proverbs 24:3-7
