The battle that you wage in this world is not against people. But against the evil one and his demons that have control and influence over the people of this world. But remember that you have been given power from above, from God Himself to overcome that wickedness. To save them from certain destruction.
It is through prayer, kindness, love, compassion, the Gospel, and obedience to God that we win the battles against evil. Working against the ways of evil, we overcome evil with good. Through righteousness and the Gospel truth, we snatch the lost from the fire to salvation.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12
Pray for those who come against you. They are lost and deceived. They don’t even know the devil has his claws dug deep into them. Chained up and bound to their own sinful nature. Imprisoned by the deception they have willingly fallen into. You will make a difference with your love and compassion for them. Telling them the truth of the Word of God, their true position before God, with the Gospel, is what will wake them from their sleep.
Pray that God may grant to them the gift of repentance and eternal life. Just as He has granted it to you. Remember, God has given you authority over the demons. So rebuke them in Jesus’ name that they may not have their way in your life and others.
So love the lost and have compassion for them. Obey the Lord and go and wage the good fight against evil. Have full confidence in the Lord, because He always goes with those who He sends. The Lord will give you the power to overcome the evil one and his schemes. Then He will save those who are lost and desperately need His love, compassion, and the truth of the Gospel.
For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete. Look at what is before your eyes. If anyone is confident that he is Christ’s, let him remind himself that just as he is Christ’s, so also are we. 2 Corinthians 10:3-7
