To Be Found In The Right

Many times you may think of yourself in the right. Thinking very highly of yourself and not so much of others. It’s that the truth. We all tend to think of ourselves as right and others as wrong, only to find out later we were wrong. For most people, it is hard to realize or admit it to God at times. Let alone openly acknowledge that we are wrong, which is the nature of mankind.

Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the heart. Proverbs 21:2

The Lord has established what is right and wrong. He knows every imperfection and flaw that causes us to fall or be blinded. After all, Jesus endured every kind of temptation yet walked in perfection. No one else in human history can claim that. God also knows that the Devil’s work causes moral, social, and personal blindness through sin.

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, 1 Peter 5:8-9

Those who follow the ways of the Lord will walk in humility and the integrity of the Lord, as Job did. They know who the real enemy is. They will even admit when they are wrong, understanding that they can’t do it without God’s wisdom and the insight of His Spirit. We all need God to help us resist the temptations and schemes of the evil one and help us against temptation.

Remember, everything that happens is in the Lord’s hands. It all has a purpose; even pain, trials, and suffering can be useful and productive because they produce refinement to make you more like the Lord. To be blunt, unfortunately, you can not grow in God’s image without them. Trials and tribulations are painful. Yet, if it were not for God’s will, it would not have happened. Neither will anything happen that is outside of His command. Everything is in His control. Each problem has a purpose and can help you learn the lesson God needs you to know.

In this, you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:6-7

Compared to God, we are small, insignificant, flawed, and fragile, tending toward wrong. Yet, He cares even for the smallest of small, the least in the world, as much as the greatest. There is no one He does not want to repent and turn away from their sins. No one He does not long to pour His goodness upon if they turn away from evil and obey Him.

If you turn from sin, put your faith in Him, and live righteously as the Lord commands. If you follow and obey His leading, your reward will be great. His light will shine upon you. But it takes time. It takes effort and sacrifice. His timetable is much different than you would like. But His way is best, and His reward is even greater.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9

Just think of how God rewarded Job because of his righteousness and integrity despite the worst of trials. Job resisted all of the temptations the Devil brought against him. He was tempted to curse God and follow the ways of his friends and wife. Yet He stood in his integrity, the integrity of God. God is undoubtedly very good. He sees the inward thoughts and deeds of the heart. He honors those who honor Him and rewards those who earn such rewards, just like Job.

Do what is right and examine your own heart and everything you do. Do not be afraid to admit when you are wrong. No matter how hard it is. The best of mankind walk in the way of wisdom and integrity of the Lord. They admit wrongdoing to man and God, and the Lord blesses them in return. God thinks highly of those who do so. The least become the greatest in His eyes.

Give your life over to Jesus completely, no matter what happens, good or bad. And let His ways be your ways. Saying in everything, “May the Lord’s will be done!” He blesses the humble and those who sacrifice everything for His name’s sake. Read the last 5 chapters of the Book of Job and see how awesome He is. Here is a little taste.

Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind and said: “Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge? Dress for action like a man; I will question you, and you make it known to me.

“Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements—surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? On what were its bases sunk, or who laid its cornerstone when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy? “Or who shut in the sea with doors when it burst out from the womb, when I made clouds its garment and thick darkness its swaddling band, and prescribed limits for it and set bars and doors, and said, ‘Thus far shall you come, and no farther, and here shall your proud waves be stayed’? Job 38:1-11

After the LORD had spoken these words to Job (Chap. 38-41), the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite: “My anger burns against you and against your two friends, for you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has. Job 42:7

See how Job was found to be in the right through wisdom, righteousness, and integrity because he walked in the pure ways of the Lord. Job was 100% on God’s side, and God rewarded him. Do you want to be found to be in the right instead of the wrong? This is how it is done, through following and obeying the commandments of the Lord.

Have faith in Jesus. He is the author and perfecter of your faith. The great I AM. The rock of ages. The King of kings and Lord of lords. The Almighty God. The faithful and true. Put your complete faith in Him, and He will give you the purity of heart and integrity that, in the end, you may be found in the right.

The process when walking with God is not easy but it’s the best decision I made. It’s hard especially when you are going through trials in life, but God fills me and gives me comfort through my pain and flowing tears. I thank him for the trials otherwise I would still be away from him. Without God I was never happy even when I thought I had everything . Everything is nothing if God isn’t the center of your Life. I have much more less now less friends and a painful breakup but I’m happier of who I’m becoming cause during my trials I found God the best thing that ever happened to me. Don’t trust in your wisdom or ways trust God for he is the only one who truly loves you and wants to prosper you. He saved me me from who I was and I am a better person now. The process is long there are things we might not understand but he knows. He forgave me and now I am a new creation. Thank you father for never giving up on me even when I gave up on myself. I love you. In the name of your son Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. Amen.❤🙏
