How deep is the marvelous love of God? How wide His excellent mercies? How long His wondrous patience? How high His amazing grace? They transcend all the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of man. They are far above.
We reach to grasp them, seek to understand them, long to live in them, and yet can not fully comprehend them.
For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, Ephesians 3:14-16
The Lord gives you strength through His Spirit, gives you the power and might to endure. He shines upon you warming your heart, mind, and soul. Wrapping His arms around you that you may be comforted and soothed from the troublesome and wicked winds of this life.
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 1 John 3:1
He does this so that you may be fully grounded and rooted in love and understanding of who He is. He has all things firmly placed in His hands. His wisdom has planned everything out, there is nothing that has escaped His sight.
So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:17-19
Oh, how we long to be in His presence, to see the full brilliance of His countenance, to bask in the light of His glory. What a day that will be. What a wonderful moment when the pains and hardships of this world melt away into eternal forgetfulness.
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:3-4
We will bow before His majestic presence worship, glorify, praise, and honor Him forevermore. The whole host of Heaven will sing praises to our Lord and God! Just thinking of it gives me chills and a tear to my eye. What a wonderful day that will be!
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen Ephesians 3:20-21
