What Are You Doing For The Lord

The Day of the Lord is drawing very near. Jesus is coming soon. I ask you, dear Brother and Sister, what are you doing with the little you have been given? What are you doing for the Lord? Are you hiding your faith under a bushel? Or are you shining your light upon hilltops, in the valleys below, and everywhere in between?

Are you drawing the lost and the broken to the Lord Jesus Christ with love, compassion, gentleness, and the truth? Whatever you do for Him, you must walk and talk as Jesus did. You must tell them the truth of the Gospel. The truth is that they have committed sins and crimes against God. Yet, He loved them enough to die for them to save them from eternal punishment.

But just as Jesus did, speak with love, compassion, and gentleness. Jesus never spoke to those needing a savior with harshness, arrogance, anger, or condemnation. He never rejected them because of race, color, lifestyle, or the kind of sins they were committing. Remember where you came from and what sins He forgave you of because we are no better than anyone else.

But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, 1 Peter 3:15

He taught, instructed, healed, and cared for all who came to Him with mercy, tenderness, and grace, telling them the truth of the Gospel and that the kingdom of God was at hand. Then, He left it up to them to follow and obey.

Yes, He condemned and rebuked the religious hypocrites because they knew better, and He knew their hearts. He also knew they had already rejected Him and rebuked them for leading the people away from God. But remember, only God knows the hearts and souls of men. So preach the Gospel in love to all, and let the chips fall where they may.

God has given you gifts to work for His Kingdom, but if you have neglected what you have been given or have abused those who don’t know God, it is time for you to repent and ask God to forgive you. Remember, judgment starts with the Chruch, so humble yourself and change your ways to mirror God’s love to the lost.

Emulate the Lord Jesus Christ. He is your example. Do not be afraid of what anyone says or does to you. Be strong and courageous for the Lord of Glory, for the King of kings is with you. He has already overcome the enemy.

Do not seal up the gift to God, and do not hold back or cover the incredible gift that the Lord has freely given you. But spread it abroad, pour it out upon the hurting and the broken. Please share it with all who may need it, regardless of whether you think they will accept it or not. You never know when the least likely person will turn to Jesus and repent.

The Lord is coming soon, and His Spirit is looking for those who will boldly believe in Him and go out in His power to save the lost. He is looking to the final gathering of His precious children. Then He will come to judge the wicked. For them, it will be too late. But right now, there is still time for the lost; it is not too late for many.

Go and use the little you have for the glory of God. Go and proclaim the Gospel to the lost with love and compassion. Go in the Spirit of the Lord so that all those chosen by God will come and be healed and saved.

And He said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent His angel to show His servants what must soon take place.” “And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” And He said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.”

“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” Blessed are those who wash their robes so that they may have the right to the Tree of Life and that they may enter the city by the gates.

Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”

The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price. Revelation 22:6-7,10-17
