The Lord Will

God will fulfill every promise He has made. There is nothing He has spoken, nothing He has declared in the heavens or on the earth that He will not be fulfilled. There is nothing He has put into motion that will not be brought to pass.

No matter what it is or how long ago it was spoken. His purpose, will, and plan will be done.

Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord God: None of my words will be delayed any longer, but the word that I speak will be performed, declares the Lord God.” Ezekiel 12:28

“Sovereign Lord, you are God! Your covenant is trustworthy, and you have promised these good things to your servant.” 2 Samuel 7:28

He has His own timetable, reasons, and objectives. Everyone who waits patiently for the Lord will be blessed. Everyone who seeks Him will find Him. Everyone who holds off running ahead of His will to their own desires will see His glory in action.

Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD! Psalm 27:14

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9

He is faithful and will give you what you need as you wait. As you hold onto the promises He has made. It will all work out for your good and His glory according to His perfect will and plan.

Walk blameless before Him and do what He has put in your hands to do. Work heartily for Him. Wait patiently for Him. He will show favor and shine His marvelous light done upon you for following close to His side. For those who keep in step with Him.

“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8

“For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless.” Psalm 84:11

Again, trust Him and wait patiently for His plan to be accomplished. He will come through. He never fails to arrive exactly on time.

When He does fulfill His promises you will understand why He took so long. Why He did what He had to do.

You will look back and you will marvel, rejoice, and stand in awe at the amazing things the Lord has done.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
