God will fulfill every promise He has made. There is nothing He has spoken, nothing He has declared in the heavens or on earth that He will not fulfill. Everything He has put into motion will not be brought to pass. No matter what it is or how long ago He spoke it, whether it is according to His plan, purpose, or will, it will be done.
Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord God: None of my words will be delayed any longer, but the word that I speak will be performed, declares the Lord God.” Ezekiel 12:28
“Sovereign Lord, you are God! Your covenant is trustworthy, and you have promised these good things to your servant.” 2 Samuel 7:28
God has His own timetable, reasons, and objectives, and nothing will stand in His way. Those who wait patiently for the Lord God will be blessed because of their trust and persistence in faith. Those who seek Him will find Him. Those who hold off running ahead of His will and those who do not drag their feet but do according to His desire will see His glory and take part in the power of His actions.
Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD! Psalm 27:14
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9
He is faithful and will give you the best of what you need just at the right time if you wait upon Him. So, hold onto the promises He has made. He never lies, He never fails, and He is always right on time. Those who doubted you and who doubted what God would do through you will be astounded when things start happening.
Walk blameless and in His righteousness before your God no matter the cost. Do what He has put in your hands to do. Patiently wait while you work heartily for Him. He will show favor and shine His marvelous light upon you for following close to His side. Those who keep in step with Him will receive a handsome reward someday, whether it happens in this life or the next.
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8
“For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless.” Psalm 84:11
Again, trust Him and wait patiently for His plan will be accomplished. Though you may have times of doubt, worry, uncertainty, and fear, those feelings are not from Him, for He will never fail you when your trust is in Him. Ultimately, you will understand why He took so long when He does fulfill His promises to you. You will see the great reasons He had to do all of it. You will look back, marvel, rejoice, and stand in awe at the amazing things the Lord has done. Praise God.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
