The Lord is calling out to all mankind, to every nation, tribe, tongue, and to you to come, seek, listen, and obey. To receive the gift He has for you. He is patient and compassionate even to those who are rebellious and headstrong. Who wander in darkness and grope around in the gloom. He holds His hands out to you all day long. He is grieved in His heart because of your ways. He waits for you so that you may come and repent. His desire is to heal, restore, and save you.
I was ready to be sought by those who did not ask for me; I was ready to be found by those who did not seek me. I said, “Here I am, here I am,” to a nation that was not called by my name. I spread out my hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, following their own devices; Isaiah 65:1-2
“Seek the Lord while He may be found.”
Every day that you wake and draw breath, is another day that the Lord has given to you. It is another chance to hear His voice, His call to repentance. Turn from your wicked and crooked ways and listen. Open your heart and call upon the Lord asking for forgiveness. Because of your many sins, offenses, and crimes against the Lord’s commands. Humble yourself, pray, and He will hear and answer.
Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:12-13 Call to me and I will answer you and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. Jeremiah 33:3
He has been waiting all this time. How much longer are you going to risk your life, your soul? Are you willing to sacrifice your eternal destiny for pleasure, for sin, and your wayward ways? Fall on your knees before the Lord today, and cry out for His mercy. He will see, He will hear from Heaven, He will reach down and put His hand upon you. He will fill you with His Spirit. He will forgive, cleanse, heal, and restore covering you with His grace and mercy.
Though you do not deserve it, because none of us do. You could never earn it or repay Him. But if you seek Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength He will accomplish it. It is you that has to turn away from wrongdoing in humility and it is Him that will do the saving.
Then give thanks to Him for the wonderful blessing and gift He has given you. Because He loves you, He will hold you, and He will never leave you or forsake you. He never lies. So call out to the Lord and He will save.
Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and perform your vows to the Most High, and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.” Psalm 50:14-15
