What To Seek After

Many seek to research and look into the nature and ways of secret societies and organizations that they believe are undermining this nation for wicked purposes. The main goal of these entities is to bring about the worship of Satan and to bring him more power on this earth. To knowingly or unknowingly corrupt as many as possible, dragging them to Hell.

But is it a good thing to dig into such things? For example, many are busy searching video after video and scouring the internet to dig up the extensive truths, nature, and intentions of our government’s ruling and controlling factions. On the one hand, it is good to expose what is evil and to warn those who may be falling into the hands of the devil’s deception. But to become obsessed is not good. In light of eternity, we need to seek the kingdom of God and obey the voice of the Lord in everything we set our minds to accomplish.

But from there, you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the Lord your God and obey His voice (for the Lord your God is a merciful God), He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them. Deuteronomy 4:29-31

The devil is a part of every aspect of human society. Many are possessed, oppressed, and controlled by Satan to do his bidding in these last days due to the weakness of our sinful nature. Most do not even know or understand the depths of his control on their lives through the presence and influence of his wicked demons.

Yet, all of it is allowed by God to bring about His ultimate plan to bring the devil’s reign on earth to an end. Jesus will return and bring judgment and destruction to all evil things, including Satan, demons, his followers, and secret and deceptive societies.

But again, does the Lord tell us to research the things of the devil or the things of God? He most definitely tells us throughout the Word of God to seek after Him and what is good, holy, and righteous, not to look into the deep things of Satan and the unholy ways of men. Expose them, yes, but not so much that it pulls us away from the will of the Father.

Jesus said, “Now to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden. But hold fast what you have till I come. And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations.” Rev 2:24-26

You are to overcome evil and expose it. But you do not need to research deep into evil to know it is detestable to God. Instead, seek after God and His righteousness to see the truth. Seek the instruction of the Holy Spirit and the wisdom, understanding, and knowledge that comes from Him. Learn from the Master of righteousness, and you will be able to recognize and rebuke the counterfeit. If you do this, very little research will be necessary; just by looking briefly, the Spirit of the Lord will show you the wickedness of it all.

Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips! Do not let my heart incline to any evil, to busy myself with wicked deeds in company with men who work iniquity, and let me not eat of their delicacies! Psalm 141:3-4

The Lord Jesus Christ gives His knowledge, understanding, and insight to those who seek Him and His righteousness. God has given you His map to follow. The Word of God, the Bread of life, is Jesus Christ. Search out what is good, holy, and upright in His eyes. Seek the instruction of Jesus Christ, His truth, and search into what is right according to the Word instructed by His Holy Spirit.

Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, And revive me in Your way. Establish Your word to Your servant, who is devoted to fearing You. Turn away my reproach, which I dread, for Your judgments are good. Behold, I long for Your precepts; Revive me in Your righteousness. Psalm 119:37-40

I can not stress this enough. Seek after the instructor of your soul, the Holy Spirit. He is the one who reveals truth and godly wisdom. Do not seek to learn more about what wicked men do, say, or teach. We only aim to learn the truth to warn them to turn from evil and rescue others from their false ways.

But understand this, that in the last days, there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. 2 Timothy 3:1-5

Seek to learn the ways of God, follow Jesus Christ, and share His Gospel. The world needs salvation from sin and death more than anything else. God will someday judge all in righteousness, which comes from Jesus Christ. Sow the seed of eternal life by telling the truth of God, sin, forgiveness, and Hell. The Gospel can change a lost soul from darkness to light, from death to eternal life. Pursuit God and His holiness and righteous ways, and He will guide you to an eternity full of joy, love, and praise with God the Father.

“With what shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?”

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:6-8
