Why does it seem the wicked is wins and the righteous are trampled? Why is the good regarded as evil and the evil good? The self-righteous and rich are elevated to a high position and rank among men of this world? The oppressor and dictator rule over the people, bring suffering and poverty on all who are under them? Even celebrating the wicked and abominable things of this world?
The truth is, it is because the prince of this world, the Devil is fighting, and doing his worst to lie, kill, and steal all that he can. Rousing his hordes of demons to oppress and possess the people of this world, calling evil good and good evil. Ruling over those who have either invited him in out of ignorance or because they love the pleasures of wickedness.
But his time is drawing quickly to an end. Those who follow him will go to destruction with him.
The Lord knows what He is doing. His allowance of it all is part of His plan. He has full knowledge of what is happening, and the Lord’s will is in full force and He will have complete supremacy over all that the Devil is trying to do.
As a supreme master chess player there will be no wool pulled over His eyes, nor will anything escape His sight. It will all be worked out for His honor, glory, and according to His divines strategy.
It is true we must go through difficult and tempestuous times, but that is for our growth spiritually and for the strengthening of our trust and faith in Him. Everything that you have done and will do for the sake of Christ will be rewarded. For our, Lord has recorded each and every one. He will not forget even one cup of water given to the poor for the sake of His name.
So do not look to the prosperity of the wicked, lamenting, and asking why. The Lord knows the why. Their time is coming and justice will be done. He even will turn the hand of the wicked against their own throats. There scheming, trickery, and murder will come down on their own heads.
Lift your eyes to the heavens and to the Lord of Glory, who is, and was, and is to come! Praise, glorify, and worship Him for He has it all in hand. Trust Him and follow without delay and without any doubt. His victory is at hand, His triumph is certain, and His exultation is absolute.
1 Be gracious to me, O God, for man tramples on me; all day long an attacker oppresses me; 2 my enemies trample on me all day long, for many attack me proudly.
3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. 4 In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?
5 All day long they injure my cause; all their thoughts are against me for evil. 6 They stir up strife, they lurk; they watch my steps, as they have waited for my life. 7 For their crime will they escape? In wrath cast down the peoples, O God!
8 You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book?
9 Then my enemies will turn back in the day when I call. This I know, that God is for me. 10 In God, whose word I praise, in the Lord, whose word I praise, 11 in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me?
12 I must perform my vows to you, O God; I will render thank offerings to you. 13 For you have delivered my soul from death, yes, my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.
