To Anyone Who Suffers

I know you must be hurting in ways I can’t even imagine. I can’t comprehend the struggles, pains, and torments that you have endured. But I know someone who knows it all. Who went through it all and can relate to every hurt and harmful thing you have gone through. His name is Jesus Christ.

He is real, and His love for you is real. He is God and was born into this world as a human to endure every suffering known to man. He died on the cross for you to take the suffering and pain you deserve for your sins. For all the things you have done that bring regret and sorrow. Because let us be honest. We know what is right and wrong. Yet, we decide to do what is wrong anyway, which brings pain.

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. We know that we have come to know Him if we keep His commands. 1 John 2:1-3

The devil wants to take as many down with him as possible through the pleasures and sins of this world. The demons of depression, addiction, sadness, regret, suicide, and many others are working overtime to deceive everyone that they can.

Yes, they are evil spirits sent to torment you into doing things you will regret. All they desire to do is lie, steal, and kill. Do not listen to them. Don’t give in to their lies. Jesus loves you so much. You are not alone, but you have to seek Him and repent.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already because He has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.” John 3:16-21

Do not love the things and ways of this world. They only lead to more pain and heartache. But love the ways of the Lord; goodness, love, peace, compassion, patience, self-control, and righteousness. He is the one all these good things come.

His hands are held out to you all day, waiting for you to call Him for help. He is the only route of escape from every single struggle, the torment of this world, and the punishment to come. He is the answer you have been searching for. He wants to deal with your sin first. Then He desires to completely cleanse and heal you, making you a new creation in Him, filling you with peace, rest, joy, and love in Jesus Christ the Lord.

I was ready to be sought by those who did not ask for me; I was ready to be found by those who did not seek me. I said, “Here I am, here I am,” to a nation that was not called by my name. I spread out my hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, following their own devices; Isaiah 65:1-2

He wants the very best for you so that you may live and fully know the great love of God. For the great purpose, He has made you. Yes, you heard that right God has a great purpose for your life. You are not worthless but oh so valuable to Jesus Christ. He has a plan for your life. So please do not throw it away to the deceiving lies the demons have told you.

Turn to Jesus today. Humble yourself to His will. Believe in Jesus Christ, repent of your sins, turn from wicked ways, and follow Him. He promises if you do, He will hear from Heaven and heal you. His promises are true, and He never lies or deceives. But He loves beyond measure. He blesses those who seek after Him with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. So may God bless you today with a heart that seeks to be humble and repentant.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the LORD, Jeremiah 29:11-14
