No Mistaking

Wait upon the Lord; lift your eyes to the One who cares. Lift your head and look to the Savior who loves you. Look to the One who rules over all. Fix your gaze upon Jesus and not on any difficult situations and events that swirl around you. He is the way, the truth, and the life, and nothing happens without His authority. There is no mistaking who is in control.

The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, for He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in His holy place?

He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false, and does not swear deceitfully. He will receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Such is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. Psalm 24:1-6

God is above, looking down on all mankind from the beginning to the end, and gives us everything we have. He knows the best ways. He knows the right path for you to take. Even when you can not see or understand it, He will guide you in the right way if you seek Him to guide you.

Remember that His works are flawless and timing perfect. His plan will not fail, and His word is absolute. Nothing can change what He has declared or decided. So seek Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. He will keep you on the path He has laid out for your journey.

Thus says the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and the one who formed him: “Ask me of things to come; will you command me concerning my children and the work of my hands? I made the earth and created man on it; it was my hands that stretched out the heavens, and I commanded all their host. I have stirred him up in righteousness, and I will make all his ways level; he shall build my city and set my exiles free, not for price or reward,” says the Lord of hosts. Isaiah 45:11-13

To you, I lift up my eyes, O you who are enthroned in the heavens! Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maidservant to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till He has mercy upon us. Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us, for we have had more than enough of contempt. Our soul has had more than enough of the scorn of those who are at ease, of the contempt of the proud. Psalm 123:1-4
