We live in such a fallen world. Evil and corrupt on all sides! They strive and connive, wringing their wicked hands, thinking they will destroy the righteous, plotting evil, and hatching deceitful plans. Conspiring amongst themselves to tear down the godly, and the good things of the Lord, convinced of their victories, but oblivious of their own destruction.
But do not be fearful of them, for God has created all things and His mighty hand, power and eternal glory will rule and reign forevermore. It has been displayed throughout the entire world and universe day after day since the creation of all things. You can see His brilliance in the mere rising and setting of the sun and the stars of the heavens day and night.
This world and the people in it will continue to go from bad to worse until His coming, yet He is in complete control and will establish the righteous nevertheless.
Remember, that no matter what happens, no matter what trials you face, whatever difficulties befall you, God is in control, God’s plan is in place, God’s hand is upon you to lead and guide you every step, and at the appointed time His plan will be accomplished!
Keep praying, keep leaning on Him, keep seeking His face and presence continually, and keep giving everything over to Him. Then He will go before you, rise up behind you, surround you completely, and be within you strengthening and emboldening you to boldly face the wicked of this world and accomplish everything He has planned for you to do. The wicked meant it for evil but God meant it for good.
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. 19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.
20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.
24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
