Be patient and be content right where you are, with what you have been given, and right where the Lord has placed you. The Lord has placed you there and with what you have for a purpose. Be content with what you have been given, the Lord is testing you in all things.
“One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in that which is another’s, who will give you that which is your own?
No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.” Luke 16:10-13
Remember to pray always, day in and day out, and throughout the night watches. Make your requests known to the Lord, ask Him to give you what you need. But in the end, ask Him to give to you according to His will. He will not refuse such a humble cry, He will answer.
Jesus said, “Pray then like this:”
“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” Matthew 6:9-13
Watch yourself unless you fall into sin, asking for things you should not have or for God to bless you when you are walking in sin.
Repent of your sins and purify yourself before the Lord. Humble yourself before Him. Go to Him with a pure heart and a clean conscience repenting of any and all sin. Ask that He will reveal any wickedness in yourself that you can not see.
Repent, therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus, whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago. Acts 3:19-21
The Lord God of Heaven will bless you, overflowing to you with those things that you truly need, those things that are best. Those things will bring you closer to His image and cause you to walk in His ways.
But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.
But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. 1 Timothy 6:6-10
