The Lord is with you at all times. He walks beside you, follows behind you, and goes on before you. He prepares the road ahead, clearing the way, and battles to defend you on every side. He promises to be with you every step of the way. Never does He leave you, and never will He forsake His children who have found favor in His sight. His promises are true and trustworthy.
It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. Deuteronomy 31:8
He loves His children, cares for them, and shows favor to them. Though it may be frightening and you are not sure what will be your next step. He is there to cover you with His protective shield. Nothing gets through without His approval.
But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you. For you bless the righteous, O LORD; you cover him with favor as with a shield. Psalm 5:11-12
When the fear and the doubt are overwhelming and the darkness is all-encompassing, keep moving forward. Keep trusting your God. Even when you can’t see Him, He is there. Even when you can’t feel Him, He is there. Even when you don’t know where you are going, He does. Have faith in Him.
For He says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
When you think you have failed and fallen, He is there to pick you up and guide you on your way. He is there to strengthen you in your weakness and embolden you through the darkness. It is faith that you are to walk by not sight.
For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7
He will bless you and strengthen you. You will walk forward into the unknown and you shall not fall, you shall not fail. But you will succeed in all the Lord has given you to do. You will walk by the radiant light of His presence. He will uphold you by His righteous right hand.
So do not be afraid, put one foot in front of the other, and follow His voice and none other. With steadfast and unmovable faith you will go forward in the confidence. You will achieve what seems impossible because the Lord is with you.
O LORD, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways.
Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O LORD, you know it altogether. You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it. Psalm 139:1-6
Just as He was faithful to go before Moses, He will never break His promise to you. His presence will go with you and give you peace in the midst of the storms He has planned for you to go through.
And He said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” And Moses said to Him, “If your presence will not go with me, do not bring us up from here. For how shall it be known that I have found favor in your sight, I and your people? Is it not in your going with us so that we are distinct, I and your people, from every other people on the face of the earth?” And the Lord said to Moses, “This very thing that you have spoken I will do, for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name.” Exodus 33:14-17
