God’s Prophets

And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did also your rulers. But what God foretold by the mouth of all the prophets, that His Christ (Jesus) would suffer, He thus fulfilled. Repent, therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus, whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets long ago. Acts 3:17-21

God has sent His holy prophets out into the earth to cry, “repent for the day of the Lord is near.” They also come in the purity of the Holy Spirit, saying, “We come in the name of Jesus, not by our names or titles, not by the authority of churches or men, but by the authority of Jesus Christ. To warn and admonish you all to turn from your sinful ways. Turn to Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.”

The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent because He has fixed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom He has appointed, and of this, He has given assurance to all by raising Him from the dead.” Acts 17:30-31

They do not stand on the authority of a church, organization, religion, or denomination. They do not sit under cover of men, nor do they owe any allegiance to anyone other than the authority and power of Jesus Christ.

God commands everyone to listen to His faithful servants, whether Apostle, Prophets, Evangelist, Preacher, or Teacher. Though many in this world are false, you must be careful to test them. Many in this age have placed themselves in one or more positions without God’s permission. They are causing many more to follow and revere themselves instead of God.

God has not sent those who depend on a man’s ordination, a certificate of academic completion, or one who promotes themselves. So be very careful not to listen to them. Unfortunately, this is the case with many popular preachers, not just prosperity but also mainline denominations and nondenominational churches. The Holy Spirit was not the one who gave them their position. They have taken it themselves. Therefore, they do not speak for God.

Beware of their smooth and intellectual speeches, deceiving people without knowing it. Beware of their inspiring, charismatic, scholarly, or entertaining words. They love others’ applause just as the Pharisees did in their time. One of the worst parts is when someone rebukes them for their falsehood; the people defend the preacher to the end, not knowing that God is against the false prophet and their followers.

“But woe to you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in. Woe to you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel across sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes a proselyte, you make him twice as much a child of hell as yourselves.

“Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘If anyone swears by the temple, it is nothing, but if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.’ You blind fools! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that has made the gold sacred?” Matthew 23:14-17

Just as in the days of old, God uses His servants, the prophets, to call out in truth to warn. To cry out from the wilderness, to obey the Lord God, obey His commandments, and to follow the ways of Jesus Christ the Lord. Follow and obey His Holy Spirit and His holy ways, no matter the blowback.

Just as in those days, right now, the false ones scorn the words of the righteous and hate them. They hate God in their hearts and hate those who come in His name, hating Jesus’ words. Do you not know that you are being warned so you can escape the punishment of hell? Do you not know it is because of the love of God that the true prophet of the Lord is warning you? They obey the Lord and want to see you walk God’s path. Do not be like the wicked people of Israel who would not listen to God’s prophets.

“You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, so do you. Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who announced beforehand the coming of the Righteous One, whom you have now betrayed and murdered, you who received the law as delivered by angels and did not keep it.” Acts 7:51-53

Oh yes, there are true prophets in these last days. Don’t listen to the liars who say God no longer speaks! Don’t you dare speak against His anointed ones. Things never go well for those who speak against God or His servants. I am warning you not to ignore what the Lord is saying to you right now.

You will know those who are true; they put Jesus first and not themselves. You will know them by the boldness and purity of their ways and words. The day of the Lord is coming soon. They are speaking and warning you to turn from listening to the words of men and the doctrines of men. Many preachers of this age sound right, but they are deceivers.

God’s true prophets are crying out to you day and night for you to listen and obey God’s Words. To follow Jesus and not religion. To open your eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts to repent of your sins. Are you listening to popular preachers instead of God? Will you heed this word of warning? Are you willing to turn and repent for following men?

Turn now to Jesus Christ for forgiveness. Listen to His true prophets and pay attention to their warnings. Listening to a message of prosperity from preachers’ who should not have a position of influence may lead you away from the Lord God. Following the popular leaders of solemn assemblies may lead to legalism and idolatry. Flocking to those claiming to be teaching the truth using their intellect, wisdom, and doctrine crafted by men of great renown may lead you into undetected deception.

The path of listening to whatever men say is broad and dangerous. But if you feed off the Word of God and the Spirit, you will not go astray. Listen to genuine, true servants whose fruits are pleasing to the Lord. The time is drawing to a close, and those who are false will not stand much longer. You will be shocked when many of them fall, and you will see who they really are. Just wait and watch for one by one; the false will fall like dominos, and those who followed them will be ashamed that they listened to the devil’s servant.

Just as God raised Jesus as The Prophet who can save all from sin and death, God is raising His true prophets and servants in these last days. Those who hear from Jesus Christ Himself. Warning and declaring all to repent and turn from sin. Turn to Jesus Christ for salvation. Will you be the one who listens to God or men?

God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets long ago. Moses said, ‘The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brothers. You shall listen to Him in whatever He tells you. And it shall be that every soul who does not listen to that prophet shall be destroyed from the people.’

And all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and those who came after Him, also proclaimed these days. You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.’ God, having raised up His servant, sent Him (Jesus Christ) to you first, to bless you by turning every one of you from your wickedness.” Acts 3:21-26
