Time Is Running Out

I was ready to be sought by those who did not ask for Me; I was ready to be found by those who did not seek Me. I said, “Here I am, here I am,” to a nation that was not called by My name. I spread out My hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, following their own devices; Isaiah 65:1-2

Time is running out. How much longer will the God of Heaven have patience with this world? How long will He remain patient with you? How much longer will you be allowed to stay on this earth? No one knows the day or hour when they will breathe their last.

God has said, do not lie, do not steal, do not idolize anything or anyone other than Me. Do not murder or hate, do not commit adultery or lust. Do not covet others’ possessions, and do not serve any other god except God Almighty. These are called sins. Breaking God’s Commandments. Who can honestly say they are entirely innocent of these things? No one can. Are you willing to admit your sins?

The Lord is calling for you to come to Him, to cry out for all the sins you have committed against Him. Do you not see that you have broken His commands? Open your eyes that you may see. Open your ears that you may hear. The God of Heaven is shaking the world. He is going to judge the world in righteousness. Not by the things you have obtained or accomplished. But He will find those who broke His Law guilty.

Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; for the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. Psalm 1:5-6

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Has the Lord pierced your heart with conviction yet? Have you started to feel Him beaconing for you to come to Him? Has he been shaking you and revealing to you your sins? Yet have you been resisting Him, holding up your fist in defiance? Don’t resist any longer. He is a loving, compassionate, and forgiving God. He patiently waits for you to cry out and repent.

This God—His way is perfect; the Word of the LORD proves true; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him. Psalm 18:30

He is a perfect Judge, and just as a judge on the bench must sentence criminals to pay for their crimes, there must be a payment for sins. But did you know that God loves you so much He made way for you to be forgiven? He made a way that you can be cleared of all charges. He sent His Son Jesus to die and pay for your sins. Either you will pay for your sins for all eternity in Hell, or you can allow Jesus to take your punishment. It is your choice.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him. John 3:16-17 But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

He was the perfect lamb of God. Jesus intentionally suffered and took the punishment you deserved for all the wrongs you have done in your life. He took the Wrath of God that you deserved because of your many sins. He was buried and rose again by the power of God, defeating sin and death. Therefore giving Him power over your death and sins. He will clear your debt if you are willing to turn to follow and obey Him.

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”— so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14

Yes, this promise is for you. He offers you salvation, the forgiveness of your sins, and eternity in Heaven. But He calls you to repent and turn from your life of sin.

Again, you must realize something very serious. If you do not turn to the Lord, you will have to pay for your sins. He will find you guilty of your crimes, breaking His law, and He will be forced to sentence you to His place of punishment called Hell. It is a horrible place of pain and suffering for all eternity. You will have to pay for each and every sin for all eternity. I do not want you to go there.

And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, Hebrews 9:27

Jesus said, “And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell, to the unquenchable fire. And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell, ‘where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.’ For everyone will be salted with fire.” Mark 9:44-49

Put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ so that you might be saved from sin, eternal death, and hell. Jesus is the only way to receive forgiveness from God. The only way to save yourself from eternal punishment. But you must repent and abandon your life of rebellion against God. Follow and obey the Lord God in all His ways. Repenting means to turn away from sin, completely turn away from that evil lifestyle, and live for the Lord.

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. Psalm 103:8 The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some count slowness but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

Time is running out for the people of this world. Time is running out for you. How much longer is the Lord going to be patient with you? You are not promised that you will be alive tomorrow. Please turn to the Lord. Please consider your eternal destination. In a moment, you could go from life into eternity. Where will you be then? There is nothing more important than your eternal soul. Time is running out.

For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my (Jesus) sake and the gospel will save it. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? Mark 8:35-36
