Who is this God we serve? He is an almighty and awesome God who rules both heaven and earth? He is the One who holds all His children in the palm of His hand. He heals and binds up their every wound. He is your Abba Father who loves you dearly. He is the everlasting God, the Most High God. He is the God who cares for His children.
He is the one who separated the waters of the Jordan and the waters of the Red Sea so Israel could walk on dry land. Providing a way when there seemed no way. He separates light from darkness and commands every star to hold its course.
For the Lord, your God dried up the waters of the Jordan for you until you passed over, as the Lord your God did to the Red Sea, which He dried up for us until we passed over, so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the hand of the Lord is mighty, that you may fear the Lord your God forever.” Joshua 4:23-24
He is the One who heals the brokenhearted. He is the One who with a word created every galaxy and each celestial body, putting them all into their place and calling each of them by name. He created you to be His unique creation. That He may use your life for His glory. Though you have suffered, He loves you and desires you to be healed and restored.
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He determines the number of the stars; He gives to all of them their names. Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; His understanding is beyond measure. Psalm 147:3-5
Oh, child of God, He will make a way for you. He will separate the waters and make a smooth way for your feet. He will lift your broken heart and your wounded spirit to heal you. With a word, He will declare with a command and open the doors intended just for you. It will be all according to His plan. All for His purposes. Just at the right time, He will do it.
Pray and trust the Lord. Wait upon Him and He will deliver. He will lead and guide you in the right way, for He is a loving and faithful God. He is righteous and holy. He is trustworthy and true. He will always provide for His dearly loved children, not leaving them to themselves. Those who faithfully follow and obey Him will see His glory. His Word is true. He is never too late and never too early. He is always on time.
But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, 2 Peter 3:8-9
The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth. Lamentations 3:25-27
