Jesus Is The Rock

Though your soul may be downcast and your spirit is low, the Lord hears your cry and sees your struggle. Though you feel as if everyone has left you all alone, He has never left you and will in no way forsake you. On the contrary, He is close to your side, to His faithful servants.

Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise Him, my salvation and my God. Psalm 42:5-6

Though your very breath and strength seem sapped away, and it feels as if you may not rise again, the Lord is your life, strength, and the source of every revival. He is the one who lifts, rescues, and restores you, planting you firmly upon His foundation that no one can shake. He is your rock.

I waited patiently for the LORD; He inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD. Psalm 40:1-3

Though it seems as if everyone is against you, remember you do not stand on your own. It is in God you hope. He is all you need. He is the truth, the life, and the way. The solid rock on which you can stand with complete dependency. The one who holds your hand and will not let you stumble or fall.

For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Psalm 62:5-8

Though the light has become dim and you can not see the way out, trust in the Lord. Trust in His everlasting promises and eternal power, and He will bring you to the place He has prepared for you. He will prepare a table before your enemies and reward your steadfast faithfulness in Him with unmeasurable proportions.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23:4-6

He will lead, guide, and direct every step along the way for those who lay everything at His feet. Your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is everything you need. His Spirit will give you the life and strength you need to endure to the end. The Father will uphold each promise He has made. Because of His deep love and devotion to you, His loved one.

He is your Salvation, God, and rock, a firm foundation. There is no better footing that you can find, no greater power, or satisfying sustenance that you can feed upon than the Spirit of the Lord, the Bread of Life, and the Lord God, who is the sustainer of all creation.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns. The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; He utters His voice, the earth melts. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Psalm 46:1-7
