Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me; bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 103:1-5
You may be struggling now, but it is for a good purpose. There is hope in the Lord. You may be hungry and weary now, but the Lord is watching over you and will strengthen your resolve. There is hope for the righteous. You may be persecuted or under a great trial now, but the Lord will turn their hate into His favor. So there is hope for the weary.
God will use what they intended to destroy you and turn it against them instead. He will do bountifully above what you asked or thought to bless you for His purposes. His promises are true. There is hope for all those who look to Jesus for salvation.
As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive as they are today. Genesis 50:20
God looks out upon the earth, searching for all who seek righteousness, integrity, and godliness so that He may strengthen them through the trial and raise them again to do His will. To do those things that no one else could ever do without training.
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward Him. 2 Chronicles 16:9
But remember, no great warrior ever became a mighty opponent without much suffering and struggle. They were made strong with many sacrifices and physical, emotional, and spiritual trials. Those endeavors tested them significantly to increase their stamina, endurance, strength, and quality of their skill. Just as you will have to go through many trials, tribulations, and persecutions to be all you can be in the Lord’s Army.
Strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying that through many tribulations, we must enter the kingdom of God. Acts 14:22
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might, He increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted, but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:28-31
Yes, there is hope for you, even amid your suffering. Hope for the future. Hope for what God has planned for your life. Hope for relief from the hardships and trials. Hope for what God will change from what was useless into gold. Hope for battles won. Hope for great rewards you have laid up in Heaven through your faithfulness to Jesus. Hope for the glories, joys, and wonders of God’s blessing in Heaven.
But now is not the time to worry or fret. Now is the time to believe in God and train yourself for the battles to come through intense prayer. Now is the time to be sober-minded, knowing that the enemy is close at hand. Be ready to engage him in battle and defeat him by the name of Jesus Christ on your lips and the power He has given you through prayer in His Spirit.
Some day you will receive what you have earned through every bump, bruise, sweat, and blood you have shed in preparation for this day. You will be ready because you believed in Jesus by faith and because God holds you in the palm of His hand. You will become a powerful opponent to the forces of evil in the spiritual realm. All of this is because the finest instructor was your trainer. The enemy will fall because no power or authority could ever defeat the Spirit of the Lord.
“No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD and their vindication from me, declares the LORD.” Isaiah 54:17
Love the LORD, all you, His saints! The LORD preserves the faithful but abundantly repays the one who acts in pride. Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the LORD! Psalm 31:23-24
The righteous have great hope, for they will be made strong. There is hope for the servant of the Lord, for they will be made victorious. There is hope for the warriors in the Army of the Lord. For their General, Jesus Christ is the Creator and Ruler over all. What He has said will happen. What He has declared, no one can deny. What He has done, no one can change. No one can stand against who He is, for He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end, ruler over all.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8 “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” Blessed are those who wash their robes so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. Revelation 22:12-14
