Most Desperate Need Of Mankind

At times of difficulty, you may wonder, “Where is the love I desperately need?” “Why does it not last?” “Why do I end up feeling all alone and unloved?” Despair, loneliness, and lovelessness can seem to be your daily bread in the best and worst times.

But the Lord God has not forgotten you. His love is what you have been looking for your whole life. He is the one you need. You may have been searching for love in all the wrong places. God is always present. He is always there in times of need for those who call upon His name. He is always watching and waiting for His beloved children to turn to Him so that He may show love.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Psalm 46:1-3

His love for you is far greater, deeper, and wider than you can imagine. Just think of all the times you have fallen and sinned, broken His laws, and did not walk in His ways. Yet, He was patient, loving, and merciful to you, waiting all day for you to return to Him.

I was ready to be sought by those who did not ask for me; I was ready to be found by those who did not seek me. I said, “Here I am, here I am,” to a nation that was not called by my name. I spread out my hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, following their own devices; a people who provoke me to my face continually, Isaiah 65:1-3

You may have obeyed the tee but still don’t feel it. God is there and using every situation for your good. Yes, He is still with you. Wait upon Him, and He will lift you because He loves like a good father and will pick up His dearly loved children.

He will use the good, bad, painful, and horrible for your good. He even allows the devil to tempt you to strengthen your faith and teach you valuable lessons. Job is a great example. He was a righteous and holy man of God. Yet, God allowed great suffering; He even suggested the testing of Job to the devil. He was tested, tried, and persecuted severely to prove that God was right and others false.

Job’s trials were profitable to his character and faith. It was suitable for Job in the end, and he praised the God of heaven for all He did. As God produces good fruit and lush foliage after the storm has pounded the tree in a torrent of rain and wind, so did Job produce righteousness and prove his integrity through the trials. Ultimately, it brings new life and vibrancy to the one able to endure with God’s help.

God uses what seems bad and turns it into something even better. It is all because of His love. He is unwilling to let mankind stay in the wretched state of sin. But rebukes, tests, and refines the dross from His children, making them pure gold.

And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The LORD is my God.’ Zechariah 13:9

So keep trusting the Lord with all your heart. Serve Him with all the faith and humility you can muster. He is with you, loves you, and will keep you through every trial and tribulation. All this is because He is a faithful and loving God who promises never to leave you alone.

Blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie! You have multiplied, O LORD my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with you! I will proclaim and tell of them, yet they are more than can be told. Psalm 40:1-5
